Few days ago, it was reported that Ghanaian actress, Nadia Buhari had an engagement ring on her, which left people confused as to if her lover, Jim Iyke has finally proposed marriage to her.

But in a recent interview with an online media, the pretty actress said she is not engaged. Nadia explained that the ring on her is just for fashion.

'I wear what looks like an engagement ring; but I’m not engaged; I bought the ring myself," the Ghanaian star said. She further added that, 'When you look at these rings, I think there are three of the same kind of ring so is this an engagement ring? I think you guys want to make a story out of nothing.'

Tuface Idibia has rallied other artistes to battle radio stations and programme presenters on Nigerian airwaves. This is in retaliation to the decision of BON and IBAN to boycott music from COSON's stable, in protest against the latter's hard fight to get the broadcasters to pay artistes' music rights.

As a result of the ban, many radio stations in Nigeria now rely on foreign songs and those of artistes that are not part of the Tony Okoroji-led COSON. Tuface and his team, Azeezat and Banky W, have decided to fight back and threatened that they will not perform at BON/IBAN's shows, including the pending Rhythm Unplugged by the Silverbird Group. Contrary to reports that hit the net days back, a source has informed me that Nollywood veteran actor turned movie director — Desmond Elliot has not joined the Labour Party to contest in the 2015 general elections.
Fellow industry veteran and friend, Uche Jombo says Desmond has not yet decided under which party to achieve his political ambition in 2015.
Other sources confirmed that Desmond Elliot is eyeing politics and is doing everything possible to become an Honorable come 2015.
“Desmond has not joined the Labour Party, forget about the news reports flying around on the internet. He’s yet to declare which party to make his dream come true in 2015,” the source said.

You cannot just do any kind of film anymore if you’re going to be the light to the nations of the world. We must be seen in the context of the things that glorify God in totality.
I’m driven to do advocacy films because they address social issues, human angle and spiritual issues that borders on the kingdom. That explains why I might not be as visible as I was some years back.
You see, you cannot eat your cake and still have it. You cannot serve God and serve Marmon. You must clearly define where you stand. I have put my hands to the plow so I shouldn’t look back but that does not remove the fact that I’m still a career actor and film maker.”

Beat FM OAP Fade Ogunro and her prolific music video director brother Sesan Ogunro lost their dad in the early hours of this morning Monday Dec. 23rd. Mr Sesan Ogunro Snr, who was an advertising guru, was returning from his church Christmas Carol with members of his family, including his children and grand children when they were attacked by armed robbers last night around 10pm in front of their church at the back of Marwa Garden in Alausa Ikeja.

Mr Ogunro was shot point blank by the robbers. He was rushed to the hospital where he died around 12.45am early this morning. He was in his sixties. Too sad. May his soul rest in peace...amen.

The General Overseer of The Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor W.F Kumuyi warned his church members during their annual National December Convention which held on Saturday Dec 21st, against celebrating Christmas, because according to him it is idolatrous and unscriptural.
