He may have said he isn't upset about losing out at this year's Grammys. However he opened up in detail to Encomium on why he didn't win and why his sister represented him
It is understandable because if you listen to the album, No Place For My Dream, you will realize it is worth the award. The album deserved to win but I know what it takes to win. Grammy is very political, the voting process is complex. There was an argument last award where it was said some people were robbed. The person who won the Best World Music Album had to apologise later that, he is not supposed to win. A lot of voting are involved and if you play the political game very well you would win. From Lagos here, I don’t have the means to play that political game. I have no intention to play along. My record company doesn’t have the financial muscle to play the game, to put your album in every radio station in America, to make sure everybody who wants to vote listens to that album

Throughout last week, students of Baptist High School in Iwo, Osun State, protested the wearing of Hijab by Muslim students to their school. On Wednesday and Thursday last week, the Christian students of the school came in their choir robes, white garments, some in Masquerade attires, while others came in fetish looking apparel, registering their disapproval of the newly introduced school uniform policy by Osun State government which allows Muslim students to wear Hijab to Christian mission public schools. Plateau Boils Again: Two Herdsmen Killed, Over 100 Cattle Missing

Plateau State has witnessed another spate of violence as two Fulani herdsmen were killed today by unknown gunmen wielding sophisticated weapons. A security source in Jos, capital of Plateau State, disclosed the bloody turn of events to SaharaReporters. The attack occurred in Gero, a village close to Bukur in Jos South local government area.

The source added that the gunmen also stole over 100 cattle after killing the herdsmen. He added that the attackers escaped without being arrested by security agents.

Today’s development comes barely a week after more than 30 villagers were killed in the state by suspected Fulani militiamen. The casualties arose after Fulani militiamen launched attacks on some villages in the troubled Riyom local government area of the state.

According to our source, “There was an attack and two herdsmen were killed. We heard that over 100 cattle were stolen.” He added that security personnel were trailing the attackers.

All efforts by SaharaReporters to reach the state police command were unsuccessful. However, a police source in Bukur confirmed the incident.

Pastor Tunde Bakare, a fierce critic of the Nigerian government and the General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly has likened the leading opposition party, All Progressives Congress to the Church of Satan in a parable.

In his sermon to the church congregation, the former Vice Presidential candidate under the Congress for Progressive Change, urged Nigerians to be wary of the coming together of the APC members whom he described as “Pen Robbers”.

He said “ APC is like a newly opened church of Satan with the evil as a Pastor which could not be distinguished by Nigerians from a true living Godly Church and hence could be mistaken for a real Church, even when it was made of thieves (Legitimate Pen Robbers).

Bakare who contested the last elections with Gen. Muhammadu Buhari said the governors of the opposition party ganged up against Local Government fiscal Autonomy using crumbs from stolen accumulated wealth to bribe their thievery colleagues at Federal and State house of Assembly.

He said, “It is very clear that 5 Governors of APC in the west is far richer than their state and they have looted every penny from their state purse. People should be careful of this Rogues,”.
