19 year old 400l Law student of University of Benin, Ceasar Augustus Ekeoba, died on May 6th. Doctors said

competitions, a master of advocacy and an intellectual. He and
some students had just returned from the US where they represented Nigeria
at the Jessup Moot Court Competition in Washington DC, before he died.

Oscar winning actress Anne Hathaway yesterday Thursday May 8th took to the streets of Los Angeles to raise awareness for the Bring Back Our Girls cause. She was joined by her husband Adam Shulman and a few others. During the protest, Anne grabbed a megaphone and said...
"These Nigerian girls are part of the 5% who are able to seek an
education, they were taken from their beds in the middle of the night by
cowards, cowards who tell them that girls do not deserve an education.
Do we agree with these cowards?" she asked the crowd, then yelled,
"What do you want?" the crowd replied "Our girls!"

Below is a New York Times editorial published yesterday May 6. Y'all need to read this. Find below..

Three weeks after their horrifying abduction in Nigeria, 276 of the more
than 300 girls who were taken from a school by armed militants are
still missing, possibly sold into slavery or married off. Nigerian
security forces apparently do not know where the girls are and the
country’s president, Goodluck Jonathan, has been shockingly slow and
inept at addressing this monstrous crime.

The Pakistani schoolgirl who made a heroic recovery after being shot in the head by Taliban because she stood up for education, Malala Yousafzai, has shown support for missing Chibok girls. Speaking with CNN, the 16 year old Nobel Peace nominee said "I think they haven’t studied Islam yet, they haven’t studied Quran yet, and they should go and they should learn Islam. Islam means peace. I think that they should think of these girls as their own sisters.
How can one imprison his own sisters and treat them in such a bad way?"

Super model Naomi Campbell also lent her support.

Will and Jada Smith's 13 year old daughter, Willow, was photographed in bed with her friend, 20 year old actor, Moises Arias, who is shirtless in the pic. Many feel it's inappropriate because she's just 13, whether anything inappropriate happened or not. Willow and the Disney actor have been friends for a while.

We thank the international community for being interested in this case, especially CNN. CNN has been all about Nigeria and this case for the last few days! It has made our government sit up and act...albeit three weeks after the kidnap.

According to eye witnesses, the men trailed the bus to the school and immediately the driver dropped the pupils inside the school, the men struck, stealing the vehicle. Thankfully no teacher or student was hurt in the incident.
