President Buhari has initiated moves for the production of weapons in Nigeria. According to a statement signed and released by Senior Special Adviser to the president on media and publicity Garba Shehu today August 7th, President Buhari charged the Federal Ministry of Defence to produce a plan for the establishment of a modest Military Industrial Complex for the local production of weapons to meet some of the requirements of the country's armed forces. The Nigerian Army paraded two alleged fraudsters Osakpolor Agustín and Felixstowe Osarumwense Osaga, who they say specialized in impersonating military officers on social media to defraud members of the public. They were arrested following a tip off at Ekpoma in Edo state on Aug 5th.

The syndicate specialized in dispossessing members of the public of their money under the guise of facilitating their recruitment into the Nigerian army. They are currently in detention and will appear in court soon.

The PDP has called on President Buhari to order a probe on the tenure of some APC government officials, particularly those of Bola Tinubu and Rotimi Amaechi. A woman named Chioma Anoruo has been arrested by the Owerri, Imo state Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), after she confessed to selling about 19 children to ritualists. According to a report by The Guardian, Mrs. Anoruo was arrested by the Orlu community local vigilante group. She was subsequently handed over to the police.

A popular exotic dancer from St Louis who went by the stage name Mulani Mulan died from fake booty injection. 22 year old Daysha Philips (pictured above) died a few days after she and three other women received illegal buttock injections in a hotel room near Lambert Airport in St Louis.

The Lagos State Government has released N11bn to pay off pension liabilities in arrears in the state since 2010 to date.
The Head of Service, Mrs. Folashade Jaji, on Wednesday in Alausa, Ikeja, said the state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, had directed that the sum should be used to pay the pension liabilities of the Lagos State Government mainstream retirees and the retirees in local governments areas.

A 12 year old Arizona boy hid in the closet as two men invaded his family’s home, a recently released 911 call reveals.
