A 22-year-old Russian man recently got married to a pizza...yes, you read right. Pizza, that round flat bread usually topped with tomato sauce and cheese and baked in an oven. Except that this particular pizza wore a white wedding veil. The ceremony allegedly took place in the city of Tomsk, Russia, in a pizzeria with chefs and managers as witnesses because Russian authorities refused to officially register the marriage and a church also declined.  Lol

A housewife identified as Iya Deborah, last Thursday morning reportedly threw a bowl of hot water on her husband, identified as Ajagadi at the Gbagidi, Ijanikin area of Lagos State, .
It was reported that Iya Deborah was upset after her husband had given her N700, out of the N800 he had, in order for her to prepare yam and stew breakfast for the family. She bought the yam, boiled some water and then poured it on her husband, who was on his phone in the living room.

The Lagos state Police force have arraigned a 30-year-old factory worker, Peter Ekom, before a Magistrate’s Court sitting in Ikeja for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl (names withheld).
The defendant allegedly committed this crime on November 3 at 43, Ariori Street, Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos. He is facing a charge of rape.

The mother of one of the Paris suicide bombers has defended her terrorist son saying he "did not mean to kill anyone" saying that the whole incident happened due to "stress".
Ibrahim Abdeslam, 31, blew himself up outside the cafe Comptoir Voltaire, during the devastating attacks on the French capital on Friday night.
His brother Mohamed was arrested days after the attacks, which killed at least 129 people and injured hundreds more, while a third brother, Salah, is currently wanted by police.
Today their mum, who has not been named, claimed Ibrahim's suicide vest may have gone off by accident and said he "had not planned to kill anyone".

At least 25 people were on Wednesday, November 12, killed in a Boko Haram attack in a village in southern Niger. According to Niger military officials, 20 of the dead are Boko Haram militants who were killed in subsequent clashes with the army. The terrorist group killed five civilians in their initial attack on the village located in the West African nation's Bosso district.

Niger soldiers drove back the militants, killing around 20 of them, the officers said.
"Reacting quickly, the government's forces were able to push them back. Most of the Boko Haram elements have been neutralized," said one of the officers, based in the Diffa border region. The situation is under control and we are carrying out clean-up operations," he told Reuters

A stench from the National Assembly toilets and the lack of water forced the members to quickly review the motions before it and adjourn their sitting till November 17th. According to reports, the situation was so bad that the odor infiltrated into the green chambers where the house members were deliberating on the day's motion. The House sitting was presided over by deputy speaker, Yusuff Lasun.

A member of the house representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency of Cross River State, Michael Etaba, had in a Point of Order lamented that the entire environ was smelling and that water was not running in his office. He said that the chamber was not conducive as a result of the stench.

A Spanish senior tried to smuggle drugs to her jailed son - by stashing them inside a Kinder Surprise's plastic casing, which she then hid in her vagina. The 73-year-old retiree, who has not been named, was busted as she passed through security at Fontcalent prison in Alicante.

She was standing in line waiting to be frisked when she became anxious and decided to remove the package, reports ABC.


It was handed over to guards and found to contain small doses of cocaine and heroin, some tranquilizer pills and 20 Euros (around $21) in cash. She’d swapped out the traditional toy for the illicit items, which had a net worth of roughly $88.

A security guard identified as Ali Mohammed and two others have been arrested by men of the Lagos state police command for allegedly killing Olurunfunmi Lawal inside a two-storey building they guard at No. 34 Olorunfunmi Street, Oworonshoki area of Lagos state on October 23rd.

According to Sahara Reporters, the residents of the area allege that the deceased was found in a pool of his blood just a day after he was declared missing.

The little boy, Masadu Junaid was diagnosed with cancer of the eye and is currently undergoing treatment at Usman Dan Fodio Teaching Hospital, Sokoto.
