Ten pro-Biafran protesters arrested between January 16-18 were on Wednesday Jan. 21st arraigned in court by the Rivers State Police Command. Onu Ifeanyi, Prince Onwazor, Princewill Anyanywu, Sunday Egbim and Uzoma Onyegbu, Chigozie Moses, Chukwudi Enyidau, Anthony Ochuel, Enam David Okon and Friady Nwahiri were arraigned at Magistrates’ Courts 7 and 14 in Port Harcourt on two-count charge of criminal conspiracy and treasonable felony.

Beautiful 25 year old Doyin Sarah Fagbenro who recently completed her First and Second degrees in Law in the UK and relocated to Nigeria after spending most of her life there, died in a fatal accident along Lekki-Epe expressway in Lagos which was caused by a reckless Danfo driver.

Her cousin, Ken Davidson, took to his Facebook page to pay her a heartfelt tribute. It's such a sad read.

Dozens of Muslim employees at a Wisconsin manufacturing company claim that they were forced to quit this week, after the company changed its prayer-on-the-job policy to one that prevents them from participating in their daily prayers to Mecca.
WBAY-TV reported that before Thursday, Somali Muslims employed by Ariens Manufacturing were allowed to leave the producing line twice a shift in order to participate in two of the five daily prayers required by the Islamic faith.

Soldiers of the 144 Battalion of the Nigerian Army reportedly opened fire on members of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) during a protest in Aba, Abia State today January 18th, killing an unidentified member of the group. Local markets, schools and Banks have closed down following the violent clash between IPOB members and security officers. According to a young escapee, ISIS is brainwashing children in its self declared Islamic caliphate to murder their parents. Identified by his first name Nasir, the 12-year-old revealed that he was one of 60 children being trained to operate as a suicide bomber. After being taken captive, the would-be child soldiers -which included boys as young as five, were told that ISIS commanders cared for them more than their own parents.

Olamide David, a Nollywood child actor has died. A family source told LIB that the 2015 best Kid Actor at BON Awards was playing football with his friends yesterday Sunday January 17th when he was mistakenly kicked in the stomach by another player. He fell to the ground and complained of pains. They rushed him to General Hospital, Ikeja where he died a few hours later in the early hours of today Jan. 18th. He was just 14 years old. So sad! May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
