It was gathered the deceased whose father is a herbalist had wanted to make money ritual by himself so he gathered 3 of his friends and copied some of his Dad's written money ritual process. However, the plan to use his Dad's process was unsuccessful which led to his death.

Daniel Dada Ayodele, a graduate of Psychology graduated with a 5.0 cumulative Grade Point Average and will be the best graduating student at the University's 2014/2015 Convocation ceremony which holds next week. He is the first student in the school to graduate with a record 5.0 CGPA.

Former Minister for Petroleum resources, Diezani Alison Madueke has denied an allegation by former group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Austen Oniwon, that she awarded $24 billion oil swap deals without a contract during her tenure as Petroleum Minister. Oniwon made the allegation when he appeared before the House of Representatives ad hoc committee on Petroleum resources.

A Nigerian man was arrested in Bertoua in the East region of Cameroon over illegal marketing of ivory and pangolin scales. The 43-year-old man was arrested this week in an operation conducted by agents of the Regional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife of the East in collaboration with the police. The Last Great Ape Organization (LAGA) provided technical assistance during the operation.
