Instead of him to hide his face in shame, he's looking happy in court. This is Jude Izuakor, the man who allegedly brutalized his wife and left her with a deep cut on the forehead (Read story here). He appeared before the Magistrate court, Kirikiri this morning to answer to charges of wife battering filed against him. Human rights activist, Joe Okei-Odumakin shared the photo on her Instagram page and wrote "Celebrity wife beater, Jude Izuakor in court today.

This is possible and has been the reality at the Noah's Ark Animal Shelter in Georgia for the past 15 years. Baloo the American black bear, Leo the African lion and Shere Khan the Bengal tiger were all rescued by the animal shelter when they were less than one year old and kept at the Georgia animal shelter to live together...and that has resulted in the most unlikely friendship. They've lived peacefully in their sanctuary for the past 15 years. Amazing!

An imgur user who goes by the name, kirrakittycat posted three images of their friend's cat with its paws in the air captioned, 'so my friend's cat does this....' The craze took off from there. The image has been viewed over 330,000 times and has spawned several memes. The cat now has its very own Instagram account with username 'Goalkitty'.

Senate Leader. Ali Ndume, was a guest on Channels TV this morning where he spoke on the controversial N4.7 billion reportedly meant for the purchase of new cars for each senator to carry out their oversight function. Ndume queried why Senators are expected to pack themselves in a coastal bus when carrying out their duties when Ministers and Local Government Chairmen have official cars. According to Ndume, Senators have not taken delivery of the cars as the budget has not been passed.
