A Federal High Court sitting in Yengoa, Bayelsa state, has granted Ese Oruru's abductor, Yunusa Dahiru, N3 million bail. Yunusa is standing trial for abducting 14 year old Ese from Bayelsa and taking her to Kano state where he forcefully married her and then converted her to a Muslim.

This young boy's name is Isaac Abeside from Irele Ekiti. He was found around the premises of New Estate Baptist Church in Surulere. He says he got lost around Alaba. He used to stay with his grandmother but says he cannot locate the house. He is from Irele Ekiti and attended a baptist church and school there. 26 year old Happniess Umaru, has been arrested by the Lagos state police command for allegedly stealing a 7 month old baby at the Ijora area of Lagos state on March 16th.

According to a report by Vanguard, Umaru was intercepted by some police officers patrolling Eric Moore road Surulere. When he was questioned, Umaru first lied that he was the father of the boy but after much interrogation, he confessed to have picked up the baby inside a bush at Ijora Railway where he had gone to answer the call of nature.

Indian authorities have confirmed the identity of the married couple killed in the FlyDubai crash on Saturday. Shyam Mohan and his wife Anju Aiyappan, both 27, were on their way back to a Rostov-on-Don resort after a month-long trip home. The couples are from the southern Indian state of Kerala. They were both trained in ayurveda, an Indian form of alternative medicine.

INEC has suspended the announcement of results from last Saturday's National and State Assembly election in Rivers state. The election was marred by high incidents of violence.
