This happened last night at Passo in Gwagwalada, Abuja at exactly 8:30pm. The young Fulani man was caught and beaten nearly to death for attempting to snatch a lady's bag. He was beaten mercilessly by a mob and left in the pool of his own blood. He was lying passed out for a while until police came to remove him. Nobody is sure whether he was even still alive when the police came.

Operatives of the Lagos Rapid Response Squad today rescued a 17yr old boy named Lanre pictured above from jumping into Lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge. A RRS rider on regular patrol of Third Mainland Bridge was notified by a mechanic of a teenager standing on the bridge and looking into the Lagoon. The RRS rider moved towards Lanre who was already standing on the crash barrier and looking into the lagoon.
