A member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC identified as Ene Gertrude Adole has passed away. Although details of her sad demise is still sketchy at the moment, it is gathered that she died yesterday from unknown ailment. Friends and family of the Benue State University graduate have been paying tributes to her on Facebook.

Anaconda which measures 33ft and weighing 400kg was found by construction workers following an explosion in a cave in Altamira, Pará.  A video filmed by one of the workers shows the sheer size of the enormous reptile. A teenager was buried alive to cure crippling back pains she has been experiencing after she was recently struck by lightning on her way to school in Monteria, Colombia, as relatives believed it would "take away the energy" the lightning left inside her.
18-year-old Ana Ballesteros was placed in a giant hole which was filled with earth and covered up to her neck for three days a week in her family's garden.

Gallant troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army in a joint operation with personnel of Nigeria Police and local vigilantes on Sunday, September 25th, repelled a coordinated attack by gunmen on Godogodo town of Kaduna State.
A statement by the Army spokesman, Col. Sani Usman, said the troops fought off the attackers and pursued them into the bush inflicting heavy casualty on them.

Justice John Tsoho, the judge handling the trial of the leader of the Indigenious People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has returned the case file to the Chief Justice of the Federal High Court, Ibrahim Auta, for reassignment. Tsoho asked for reassignment of the case following a petition by the legal team of Nnamdi Kanu led by Chuks Muoma, alleging that he was biased in its handling of Kanu's case.
