Over 20 people including two security officers were killed after gunmen suspected to be herdsmen attacked a military outpost at Godogodo village in Kaduna state. According to residents, the attack started on Saturday October 15th and then continued into yesterday Sunday October 16th which saw the herdsmen attacking surrounding villages in  Jama’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State‎.

Actor Russell Crowe threw rapper, Azealia Banks out of his hotel suite when she threatened to cut him and his guests and watch them bleed on Saturday night.
According to multiple eyewitnesses, Russell Crowe invited 10 people to his hotel suite at a Bev Hills hotel, for dinner and to listen to music. One of the guests he invited was RZA, who brought Azealia along.
According to news reports, while they were listening to music, Azealia laughed out loud at Russell's music selection and called him and another guest, "boring white men."

The King of Thailand -- Bhumibol Adulyadej, who is the world's longest reigning monarch is dead. He died in a Bangkok hospital at the age of 88 today Thursday October 13th, according to the bureau of the royal household.

King Bhumibol Adulyadej gave up the ghost today after his family highlighted on Sunday that he had been placed on a ventilator after his medical team had performed kidney dialysis and replaced a tube used to drain fluid from his lung when his blood pressure dropped.

Deputy Commissioner of Police administration in the command, DCP Tunde Gbolarumi told newsmen in a press briefing that the 22 suspects paraded, comprised of gangsters, kidnappers, one chance syndicates and armed robbers.

A 32 year-old Nigerian woman, Gift Daniel is now facing deportation from Canada after an Ottawa court overturned a decision to grant her a refugee status because of a misspelling of her name in a government birth document from Lagos.


What was unusual with the government’s appeal is immigration officials did not challenge Daniel’s claim that she was a victim of female genital mutilation and domestic abuse, but contested her credibility on the grounds that she is not who she claims to be.

A cleaner was doing her regular clean-up this morning, October 12th, at a women's toilet at Saphil railway station in Thailand when she discovered the tiny body of a newborn baby dumped inside the toilet bowl. The world's most popular transgender Caithlyn Jenner will have no choice but to use the men's bathroom if she comes to North Carolina according to the state's governor, Pat McCrory.
McCrory, on Tuesday defended the state’s anti-LGBT law, and blamed “liberals” for “a major change in culture” that has forced Republicans to respond with the legislation forming an anti-LGBT law. 
North Carolina’s anti-LGBT law passed in March, removes anti-discrimination protection for LGBTQ people and mandates that people use the public bathrooms that correspond to the sex they were assigned at birth.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Cross River State Command, has arrested two suspected drug barons, 55 year old Azuka Emmanuel and 23 year old Ndubuisi Okafor, with 76.050 kg of Methamphetamine and 100.1kg of Ephedrine, worth N2.5 billion.

They were arrested while traveling on Yahe-Ikom Trans International Highway with the banned substances concealed in cereals, foodstuff packs and five industrial fillers. According to the NDLEA Commander in the state, Anthonia Edeh, the suspects were arrested during a stop and search on a commercial bus they were traveling in. More photos after the cut.
