Police in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State have rescued a little girl who was badly brutalized by her father and step mother, for bed-wetting. According to twitter user, @MissTekenah: "I've heard cases of Child Abuse. But seeing a victim today brought tears to my eyes. I can't get over it. It shouldn't hurt to be a child For always urinating in bed, this is what her father n step mother did to her. There's no excuse for child abuse." A hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts, St Vincent Hospital, has received backlash after surgeons mistakenly removed a kidney from the wrong patient after they did not follow proper patient identification procedures.
The surgeons removed a healthy kidney from the wrong patient on July 20. A 32-page report revealed that the unidentified patient was at the hospital to have a kidney removed due to a large tumor.
However, once the procedure began, doctors realized that there was no tumor on the patient's organ. The organ was removed and sent to the pathology department, which confirmed the kidney did not have any tumor. The report explained:

Over 20 people including two security officers were killed after gunmen suspected to be herdsmen attacked a military outpost at Godogodo village in Kaduna state. According to residents, the attack started on Saturday October 15th and then continued into yesterday Sunday October 16th which saw the herdsmen attacking surrounding villages in  Jama’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State‎.

Actor Russell Crowe threw rapper, Azealia Banks out of his hotel suite when she threatened to cut him and his guests and watch them bleed on Saturday night.
According to multiple eyewitnesses, Russell Crowe invited 10 people to his hotel suite at a Bev Hills hotel, for dinner and to listen to music. One of the guests he invited was RZA, who brought Azealia along.
According to news reports, while they were listening to music, Azealia laughed out loud at Russell's music selection and called him and another guest, "boring white men."

The King of Thailand -- Bhumibol Adulyadej, who is the world's longest reigning monarch is dead. He died in a Bangkok hospital at the age of 88 today Thursday October 13th, according to the bureau of the royal household.

King Bhumibol Adulyadej gave up the ghost today after his family highlighted on Sunday that he had been placed on a ventilator after his medical team had performed kidney dialysis and replaced a tube used to drain fluid from his lung when his blood pressure dropped.

The invigorated Intelligence Response Team (IRT) under the auspices of the office of the Inspector General of Police launched a massive onslaught on the kidnappers of some residents of an estate in Isheri area of Lagos state. This yielded prompt result as the hoodlums were eventually arrested.
