A fish seller who lives in Maraba Jos, Igabi, Kaduna State has been dragged before a Sharia Court for forcefully having anal sex with a 7-year-old Almajiri boy on several occasions. This was revealed by Hajiya Rabi Salisu Ibrahim, the Chairperson of Arridah Relief Foundation of Nigeria, the NGO that confronted the suspect and took him to court. While speaking to journalists, Hajiya Ibrahim revealed that the suspect raped his victim who is an Almajiri at an Islamic school over 10 times without using protection after luring him to his shop.

The female suicide bomber, who was intercepted by men of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, on Tuesday in Maiduguri, admitted to had been given N200 to embark on the mission, adding that she was abducted two years ago and later married a Boko Haram commander named 'Amir'

The suicide bombers tried to attack motorists at the NNPC Mega Station along Damboa Road. One was shot dead while the other was arrested.

25-year-old Abdulhamid Abdullahi has been arrested by the Jigawa State Police Command for allegedly killing his 65-year-old father, Shuaibu Abdullahi, in Jigawa. The sad incident took place on February 5th while Abdulhamid was trying to attack his brother whom he suspected was responsible for influencing their father from allowing him to get married.

A member of the Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) who was wounded during a clearance operation in Boko Haram stronghold, Sambisa Forest last January has passed away.

CJTF secretary Muazu Alhaji Misiya, who announced the sad news this morning, said the deceased identified as Modu Churi had been receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital in Borno State. May his soul rest in peace, amen. More photos after the cut.

A French-Canadian university student known for far-right nationalist views was charged with six counts of murder over the shooting rampage at a Quebec City mosque on Sunday.

The 27-year-old suspect identified as Alexandre Bissonnette made a brief court appearance and did not enter a plea on the attack which left six people dead and 19 others wounded during evening prayers.

An Hausa noodles seller identified as Adamu allegedly killed a commercial bus driver, Olalekan Adeleke following a disagreement over N30, in Igando area of Lagos, last Sunday night. 

Adamu reportedly hit the deceased with a plank with nails on the head, while trying to escape from him after paying the said debt. He fell and died on the spot.

The Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Command Francis Mobolaji Odesanya has passed away.

The CP reportedly died today in a hospital in either India or Dubai where he went for treatment for kidney failure according to police sources.

The commissioner of police was transferred to Rivers state in August 2016 to take over from Foluso Adebanjo who is currently a Deputy Inspector General of Police. May his soul rest in peace, amen.

Telangana Crime Investigation Department (CID) has arrested a 31-year-old Nigerian national Mohammed Hassani(31) and his Hyderabadi associate, Mohsin Agha (29) for swindling a 60-year-old Australian citizen, Gregory David Sim out of $95,000 with the help of a Nigerian woman.

The Nigerian woman, who developed friendship through a dating site with Gregory David Sim and two other Nigerians involved in the case were still at large.

Spanish actor, Antonio Banderas, was rushed to St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey on Thursday after he began experiencing excruciating pain in his chest while exercising at his home in Surrey. Paramedics were called in following the heart scare to help convey Antonio to the hospital.
