An 8-year old marriage has been dissolved by a Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan, on Tuesday.
The marriage between AkibuOyewole and his wife, Omolara came to an end due to threat to life.

Omolara was granted custody of their 2 kids and the court president directed Akibu to pay a monthly feeding allowance of N8,000 for the upkeep of the children as well as being responsible for the children's education and other welfare. Akibu, a commercial motorcyclist, said that his wife made an attempt to set him and the children ablaze.

An Ohio judge was shot and wounded by the father of the Steubenville rapist who was convicted of raping a girl during an alcohol-fueled party in 2012.  
Judge Joseph Bruzzese Jr, 65, was ambushed and shot outside a Steubenville, Ohio courthouse by Nathaniel Richmond, who was later killed by a probation officer.
The judge, who was armed at that time of the incident, reportedly returned fire 5 times during the exchange of gunshots with Nathaniel's father. But he was shot dead by a probation officer who was walking between buildings and heard the gunfire, according to officials.

A man has been fatally shot by a mobile policeman attached to Chief Johnny Aribogha. The 34-year-old, Fred Igueriede, alongside two other persons, a man, and a woman, were reportedly shot by the yet to be identified mobile policeman.

Reports have it that the deceased, a married father of two had attended the funeral of the mother-in-law of Mr. Joe Akugbowe, a tenant of Chief Aribogha, at Eweri Primary School, Emede in Isoko South LGA when the incident occurred.

A truck has been set ablaze in Edo after it's driver crashed into a commercial bus killing no fewer than nine persons. Two children and the bus driver are some of the deceased from the accident.

Reports have it that the accident occurred around Eguasco Street at about 6am on Tuesday. The driver of the bus had slowed down his vehicle to pickup some passengers going to Third junction when the truck crashed into the bus from the rear.
