 Vitória's father says he does not know how long she will survive and didn't expect her to make it until her ninth birthday
A girl who was born without a face because of a rare condition has defied the odds to reach her ninth birthday thanks to her family’s love.
Vitória Marchioli, from Barra de São Francisco in Brazil, has the genetic disorder Treacher Collins Syndrome which prevented 40 of her facial bones from developing properly.
As a baby, with her her eyes, mouth and nose displaced, doctors doubted she would survive her first few hours of life.

Prince Amadi, a 27-year of murder suspect who has been at large for a while was arrested recently, by policemen in Port Harcourt. 

Amadi who has been at large since December 19, 2016, after he allegedly stabbed someone to death at Aker Base waterfront, in Rumuolumeni, was arrested on Monday, August 21, 2017, along Nkpordiagha Road. His dressing gave him away.

A 7-year old girl from Massachusetts was on Sunday kidnapped from her family's party which was held at her grandparent's home on Forestdale Road.
According to Worcester police, 35-year old Joshua Hubert was a guest at the party.
The 7-year-old, whose name has not been released, was asleep in a chair around 2:30 am when, police say, Hubert grabbed her and put her in a car.

A 36-year-old mother killed her 7-year-old disabled daughter by throwing her twice from the terrace of a four-storey residential building at Jaraganahalli in JP Nagar on Sunday afternoon.
The victim identified as Aishika Sarkar, but popularly called Shreya, survived the initial fall with serious injuries, after which her mother, Swathi Sarkar, rushed down, carried her up, and went back up to their flat only to throw her down again in front of shocked neighbours. She died instantly.
