After nearly two years, Katharine McPhee and Nick Cokas' divorce is now finalized, according to TMZ.
The Smash actress confirmed in May 2014 that she had filed for divorce from Nick after six years of marriage.
Katharine and Nick married in Beverly Hills in February 2008 when Katharine was 23 after a three year romance.
TMZ website reports that the formal couple's date of separation is listed on divorce documents as 2014.
The
pair will be dividing half of what Katharine earned during her time
starring on Smash, which was cancelled after two seasons in 2013.
The actress is to pay her ex-husband $102,616 in the coming days, adds the website.
Nick will also keep the 2013 Jeep Wrangler, but Katharine will retain the 2012 Mercedes Benz M Class SUV, TMZ reports.
Katharine's
publicist confirmed in 2014 that the hitmaker had filed for divorce
months after the singer was snapped locking lips in October 2013 with
married Michael Morris.
Michael was a director on Smash.
At the time that she was caught kissing Michael, Katharine insisted that she and her husband Nick had already been separated.
Katharine
filed for divorce several months later and listed her date of
separation from her husband as March 15, 2013 - seven months prior to
pictures showing her kissing the director.
However, Nick disagreed and said the couple were still together at the time.
Besides showing she was separated when seen with another man, the date of separation is important as, according to TMZ, Katharine wants to keep all of her earnings she made since that time.
The actress' representative confirmed to People in 2014 that the couple were divorcing.
'After
six years of marriage, and having been separated for the past year,
Katharine McPhee has filed for a dissolution of marriage from Nick
Cokas,' the rep told the magazine.
'The two have an amicable relationship and will remain friends. They ask that people respect their privacy during this time.'
