Kris Jenner recently stated she's taking baby steps in the
relationship with her former spouse.
And the 60-year-old reality star proved just that as she and
Caitlyn Jenner attended Kanye West's Yeezy 3 fashion show in New York City on
Thursday.
The exes set their differences aside and put on a united
front in support of their daughter, Kim Kardashian's husband.
Kanye's over-the-top show was attended by the entire
Kardashian-Jenner family, including Lamar Odom, which was held at Madison
Square Garden.
The entire clan all showed their support by wearing designs
from his new collection, as Kris wore a sparkling gown that showed off her
cleavage and a long white coat.
Despite the fashion faux pas, the closeness between the
family was evident as momager Kris recently opened up to Harper's Bazaar about
her former spouse Caitlyn, and her struggle to deal with her gender transition.
Following the split from her husband of 22 years in 2015,
she revealed she had a hard time accepting Caitlyn at first.
'I think at some point, although it was difficult and, uh, a
challenge… I just have to let it go. And try to be tolerant,' she told the
magazine. '[With] prayer. God. You know,
just trying to understand. It takes time.
'But time is a wonderful healer. And we have two children
together. It’s important for my kids to see our family strong and united,' she
concluded.
The mother-of-six also revealed that she was unaware of what
the term transgender meant, and the revelation left her doubting the validity
of their marriage.
'Thank God, I never doubted myself,' she said. 'I never
really doubted my femininity. I just doubted the relationship. You know, what
were those 20-plus years all about?'
'And I felt like, at some point anybody would feel like,
"Wow, why was I put through this? For 20 years I could have been, you
know, doing something else." But I really do believe everything happens
for a reason.'
