Skinniest dog discovered alone in Cumbria, UK

This 2-year old dog named Spot was discovered alone, starved and close to death in an industrial estate in Cumbria, UK on Tuesday. The dog is so painfully thin he looks like fur skeleton.

RSPCA inspector Martyn Fletcher, who is investigating the case, told the Express : “He is the skinniest dog I think I’ve ever seen alive, literally skin and bones. An initial veterinary assessment suggests his body condition is down to starvation, rather than any underlying medical condition.
"He really is in a truly shocking state.”

“He is such an unusual coloured dog for a lurcher-type, white with Dalmatian-type black spots, that we hope someone will recognise him,”

“We want to hear from anyone who knows who his owner is, or who saw anything they think might help with our investigation, to get in touch."
