“Catholic Pope Is Anti-Christ And They Will Go To Hell” – Rev. Chris Okotie

Former Hip hop singer turned celebrity man of God, Rev. Chris Okotie, is not a man to stay away from creating controversies and this time, he has stirred the hornet’s nest by taking on the world’s most popular church, the Roman Catholic Church, saying that the head of the church, Pope Francis, is an anti-Christ and that the church itself is “a counterfeit church set up by Satan” and that Catholics “bow to idols and crucify Jesus every Sunday when they eat bread claiming they are eating Jesus’ body,” and that they will all go to hell.

Jay Z celebrates 44 by going vegan

Jay Z celebrates 44 by going vegan

If you want to help Jay Z celebrate his 44th birthday, send him a link to a vegan recipe.

Over on his website, the entrepreneurial rapper and mogul has announced that he's going vegan as he turns 44 on December 4.

"Psychologists have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. On the 22nd day, you’ve found the way," Jay "no hypen" Z writes on Life + Times. "On December 3rd, one day before my 44th birthday I will embark on a 22 Days challenge to go completely vegan, or as I prefer to call it, plant-based!! This all began a few months back when a good friend and vegan challenged me to embrace a 'plant-based breakfast' every day. It was surprisingly easier on me than I thought."
While Jay tells his fans to follow the advice of his "friend Marco" - a.k.a., Marco Borges of 22 Days Nutrition - when it comes to adopting a plant-based diet, we can't help but wonder if Carter family friend Gwyneth Paltrow helped influence this decision. After all, the GOOP founder and BFF of Jay's wife Beyoncé recently wrote a cookbook about how to eat well while eliminating certain foods. (As it turns out, Mrs. Carter will also embrace veganism for the next 22 days along with her husband.)
"There’s something spiritual to me about it being my 44th birthday and the serendipity behind the number of days in this challenge; 22 (2+2=4) coupled with the fact that the challenge ends on Christmas day," Jay says of the challenge's timing. "It just feels right! So you can call it a spiritual and physical cleanse. I will post my progress ... Any professional vegans out there that have any great food spots please help out!"
Have some vegan-friendly suggestions? Jay's Twitter account is @S_C_.

Rita Dominic And Charles Novia In Twitter War

Nollywood star actress, Rita Dominic and prolific producer, Charles Novia, are right now engaged in a serious Twitter war of words over comments Novia made on her.
Known for his scathing criticism of celebrities, Charles Novia had, yesterday, released a list of his top five actresses in Nigeria for the year 2013 and on the list, he placed Rita Dominic as number five.
This placement seemed not to go down well with Rita. The actress who just won the Best of Nollywood Award as the Best Supporting Actress in English for the movie ‘Finding Mercy’, the same film Novia said she did not perform well and had used in rating her, came out firing from all cylinders, putting down the respected producer cum director.
Read Rita fiery tweet:
“Check that Charles has not drowned himself. BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS ENGLISH (BONAwards): Rita Dominic for ‘Finding Mercy’."

Charles Novia took it with the calmness of a gentleman and replied her thus:
“Dear Rita Dominic: I am still alive and won't die for a looong time. My opinion of your role in Finding Mercy still persists. Congrats.”
Who will blink first in this interesting battle?

The Australian High Court rules that same-sex marriages held last week in Canberra, Australia will be annulled.
For five days, same-sex couples could get married in Australia's capital city of Canberra. Those who did were the first in the country to do so.
But that fleeting window was slammed shut Thursday by the Australian High Court, which ruled that a recent local law legalizing same-sex marriage was invalid.
That means that the marriages of the couples who took advantage of the law to tie the knot -- 27 according to local media -- will be annulled.

Barack Obama - Mandela Makes Me Want To Be A Better Man

US President Barack Obama pays tribute to the fallen Hero in Johannesburg

Obama And Nelson Mandela

US President Barack Obama has just shared his deepest thoughts and memories of the Late Great Nelson ‘Madiba’ Mandela at the ongoing Mandela Memorial in Johannesburg South Africa. The second most powerful man in the world compared Madiba to legends like Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Ghandi all in one speech and he will like ‘to live  and achieve’ like his hero Mandela.
President Obama made mention of so many things but was so keen on Mandela’s fight for justice, change, love and peace in the world and not just for the people of South Africa. “Mandela thought us all about the power of ideals, the importance of reasoning, the oneness of humanity and was a very practical human being.” He said in his speech.
Obama further acknowledged the essence of Mandela’s rise to international recognition saying “he was not afraid to compromise for the sake of a larger goal and he was true to his vision of protecting the minority and the majority as well”. He said, “he was a fair man and changed all hearts, those he inspired and now it’s time for us to celebrate a good life.
Although, “it takes a man like Nelson Mandela to be not only a prisoner but a jailer as well,” President Obama urged the entire world to take Mandela’s legacy and integrity to change the world, “it’s a time for self-reflection. It’s time to ask ourselves ‘how well have I taken his lessons’ into my life?” he added “Madiba showed we can change and we too can make it in this life through his lessons”.
Obama ended his 20+ minute tribute by saying “We’ll never see the likes of Nelson Mandela. He makes me want to be a better man…we will miss him deeply.”
May God bless the memory of Nelson Mandela.

“My Wife Thought I Was Joking When I Proposed to Her” – Comic Actor, Ime ‘Bishop’ Umoh aka Okon Lagos

Comic Actor, Ime ‘Bishop’ Umoh aka Okon Lagos recently shared his experience in marriage, talks about proposal, plans for future.
What was the attraction to your wife, Idara? What kind of attraction, physical, emotional or spiritual?
All of the above… She is like a gold fish which has no hiding place. I spotted her at a wedding.
At what point did you know she was your wife?
I can’t say I knew she would be my wife the first day we met. We interacted a little. At a point, I just got to know she is reasonable, real, homely, God-fearing and above all, she is not perfect.
And she knows I’m not either. I saw the prospect of her tolerating me. Later, I just decided to ask the big question, “will you marry me?”
ime-wedding33
How did you do it?
I did it inside my car (laughs). And her answer was a big Yes! If she told you she said yes, it is understandably to please me. She didn’t say an automatic yes. She didn’t look at me seriously. That was when I knew I have a little personality problem.
She couldn’t differentiate Ime ‘Bishop’ Umoh from the artistic part of me. But I told her I was serious and then asked her again right inside my car. I don’t spend long time in Uyo. So, whenever I saw her we had to drive round the town and our discussions were usually inside the car.
It was also in my car. I asked her again, will you marry me? And she said a big yes!
How has married life been?
Married life is nice o. For me, there is nothing more blissful than marriage, especially when you know you have made a good and perfect decision. There is also this inner joy that you are talking with someone you love and she loves you back for the rest of her life for who you are.

Don-Jazzy
In his earlier interview, given to Punch journalists, he said,

“I Used To Like Women With Big Hips, But One Morning…” – Don Jazzy

“With due respect to slim ladies, there is no way any lady shaped like a broom can attract my full attention. I’m sorry but that’s the truth. My ideal woman must be God-fearing. She must have all the basic curves in the right places. The rounder and bigger her chest and backside, the better.”
Now Don Jazzy claims to prefer slim ladies more.
In a very recent interview with Yes! Magazine, he said,
“See, I’m very very dangerous in the sense that my mind can change sometimes. For instance, a lot of people used to think that I like people with big hips and big nyansh – big–figured people.
“But I woke up one morning and everything changed. I’m a totally different person now and I like my women straight up from the runway – Lepa to bad (Smiles).
Some of my friends say I’m having midlife crisis, but that’s what I like now.”
