Some people make the mistake of texting a partner or friend the wrong message when they are drunk or high on drugs, but when it comes to text mistakes this man wins hands down. 29 year old Martin McNally, from Dundee, had enjoyed a night out with his girlfriend Nicole and helped himself to a few more drinks when they got home. He then asked Nicole for a mutual friend's number, and she gave him his own number by mistake. Martin didn't recognise his own number or even realize the error when he tried to call it.

FIFA, the world's football governing body has banned Ivory Coast and Sunderland defender Emmanuel Eboué for one year. FIFA passed the judgement on the former Arsenal defender this morning for refusing to pay his agent for agent fees owed.

This means won't be able to play football for 360 days effective from this morning until the fee is completely paid. The ban will be lifted once he pays up. Read FIFA's full statement after the cut.

A widower named Solomon Wilfred has accused the Lagos state police command of causing the death of his six weeks pregnant wife, Vivienne, on March 16th.

Solomon who just got married to Vivienne in December last year, said his wife was arrested at the Apena market on March 15th over allegations of kidnapping a teenage girl.
