A 55 year old man named Chief Jude Dike (pictured above) who police say is the sponsor and leader of a 7-man gang was today September 23rd paraded alongside six other members of his gang at the Lagos state police headquarters in Ikeja.

There was major drama in the House of Reps today September 23rd after APC lawmakers staged a walk out during a session in the House after a motion to debate the $9.3m smuggled into South Africa by two Nigerians on behalf of the Federal Govt on September 5th was denied by PDP lawmakers.

According to reports, the APC lawmakers had moved a motion through the the House Deputy Minority Leader, Ismaila Kawu to debate the matter on the floor of the House but the motion was stopped after a voice note called by the deputy speaker, Mr Emeka Ihedioha went in favor of the majority PDP members.

After the walkout, the Minority Whip leader, Samson Osagie spoke on behalf of APC members...

According to reports, the movie/TV/media mogul and Studio Head announced to his guests at his star studded 45th birthday party last weekend that he's expecting his first child. Though he didn't share who the baby's mother is, people are speculating that it could be his 28 year old Ethiopian on-again/off-again model/activist girlfriend, Gelila Bekele. After 23 years of marriage, reality star and mum of the Kardashian girls, Kris Jenner has filed for divorce from Bruce Jenner. The couple officially separated in Oct. 2013. See the TMZ report below..

TMZ has learned it's already a done deal. Kris filed pro per -- meaning no lawyer. Our sources say this was all orchestrated. Bruce Jenner's response is about to be filed at the L.A. County Courthouse.
She cites the standard "irreconcilable differences" as grounds for the divorce.
Everything has been worked out with their business managers ... our sources say. There was no prenup and they have already agreed to a property split.
Neither party will get spousal support. As for Kylie - who is 17 - they have joint custody.
Bruce, Kris and their managers worked out the deal over the last few months.
They separated June 1, 2013. That's significant because once they're separated they don't continue to share earnings - in other words, what's hers stays hers after separation.

We're told the divorce is "totally amicable."

Investigators in South Africa have dismissed Nigerian government’s explanations of the purpose of the $9.3 million cash seized from two Nigerians and an Israeli as “flawed and riddled with discrepancies”. The suspects told South African authorities that the money was meant for the procurement of arms for Nigerian intelligence agencies.
Although various explanations about the money were given to the investigating officer, these explanations were flawed and riddled with discrepancies,” the South African prosecution agency said in a statement sent to this newspaper.
The jet used to ferry the money is owned by Ayo Oritsejafor, who heads the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN.

A mother  saved her six-month-old baby with her 'last breath,' sheltering the  infant in the toilet after her boyfriend shot her in the head and turned the gun on himself. Jessica Arrendale, 33 (pictured with her baby), was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head along with Antoine Davis (right), 30, who police believe shot himself and Arrendale in a  murder-suicide in an Atlanta suburb.

Former NFL player Rob Bironas (pictured above), died around 11pm on Saturday night September 20th in a car crash near his home in Nashville, Tennessee. According to reports, Rob lost control of the 2009 GMC Yukon SUV he was driving (they say he was speeding) and swerved off the road, hitting several trees and turning the vehicle upside down. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center but was pronounced dead on arrival. He was  just 36.

Just three months ago, in June, Rob married country singer Rachel Bradshaw, who's also the daughter of Hall of Fame quarterback, Terry Bradshaw. Rachel is said to be inconsolable. See pics of the happy couple before the tragic incident

There are quite a few people who believe that late Dr Stella Adadevoh who died from the Ebola virus, should be posthumously recognized by the government as her singular act of stopping Sawyer from living the First Consultant Hospital saved many Nigerians from contracting the disease. But when this year's National Honors list was released last week Thursday, her name was not included.

A young student in a university in China, who hid her pregnancy throughout, gave birth to a baby girl inside a toilet pipe, hoping the baby would flush down the pipe. Fortunately the pipe wasn't wide enough to take the baby down and so her body became wedged a short way down the pipe. The baby immediately started crying and the new mum fled. Fortunately, the baby's cries was loud enough to attract the attention of other students who immediately raised an alarm.

Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Fashola, today September 18th, hosted some Ebola survivors at his office at the state Secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja. Speaking with the survivors, the governor commended them for coming forward to share their experiences, saying that they are proof that the disease is not a
death sentence.

Matthew Knowles has given Beyonce and Solange another sibling after DNA tests prove he fathered  a girl in 2010 with lingerie model turned real estate agent, TaQoya Branscomb.


TaQoya had claimed in July that Matthew was the father of her 4 year old daughter, and he was 
ordered by the Texas courts to take a paternity test. According to TMZ, the paternity test came out today and it showed 99.998% probability that Mr Knowles is the father.



Now Taqoya can move forward with her child support case against Mathew.
