Some people might like Kim Kardashian's nude cover for Paper magazine but Glee actress Naya Rivera is not one of them. The feisty actress, who felt the shoot was inappropriate for a mother to do, commented on Kim's photo saying exactly that. Naya wrote "I normally don't, but you're someone's mother". Naya is just one out of the thousands of people who called Kim out for the mag shoot.

Chinese women who are entering South Korea seeking skilled plastic surgeons are undergoing such transformative procedures that they are now struggling to get past airport security on their way home. The extensive surgeries, which can include reducing excess skin in the upper eyelid to make the eyes appear bigger and more 'Western', are transforming some Chinese women's entire faces, rendering them almost unrecognizable. To combat the issue, some hospitals have resorted to handing out 'plastic surgery certificates' - which include the patient's passport number, the name of the hospital they were treated at and the length of their visit to South Korea - to enable the women to re-enter China. The captain of the South Korean Sewol ferry that sank on April 16th killing over 300 students on their way to a field trip and other passengers on board, has been sentenced to 36 years in prison.

Lee Joon-seok, was sentenced today November 11th after a 6-month trial, after being found guilty of violating 'Seamen's law' and abandonment causing death and injury.

He was accused of abandoning his ship and leaping to safety while hundreds of his passengers remained inside the ferry as it sank. Prosecutors said he failed to use available equipments in his ship such as life rafts, life vests and announcements to evacuate the passengers.
The Ferry's chief engineer was found guilty of murder and sentenced to 30 years, while the remaining 13 crew members were sentenced five to 20 years.

Following the attack on Government Senior Science Secondary School in Potiskum yesterday by Boko Haram members which killed 47 students, Yobe state government today closed down all public and private schools in the state, indefinitely.

According to a statement released by the state's Commissioner for Education, the closure is with immediate effect.

The Nigeria Police Force regrets any inconvenience the diversion of vehicular movements within the area may cause members of the public, as this is one of the proactive security measures put in place to avoid break down of law and order in the area and Abuja at large.

Renowned gospel leader, transformational leader, business coach and author of many motivational books, Dr. Myles Munroe and his wife, Ruth Ann, died in a plane crash in the Bahamas yesterday Nov. 9th. The couple and 7 others (pictured above moments before boarding the plane) were killed after the Lear 36 executive private jet they were traveling in struck a crane at the grand Bahamas ship yard, as it approached for landing, exploding on impact.

The plane which had nine people on board left the Lynden Pindling International Airport and was trying to make a landing at the Grand Bahama International Airport when it crashed. Everybody was killed. Continue...

The Head Driver to the Nassarawa state Governor, Umaru Al-Makura, Abdullahi Mairuwa, was shot dead this morning November 8th by unknown gunmen while he was traveling with his wife to his hometown in Keana Local Government Area of the state. 
 
Mr Mairuwa, who was in charge of all the drivers at the government house, was shot dead at Tudun Adabu Rd along the Obi-Keana-Awe round-about after his car was intercepted by the assassins. He was reportedly shot dead at close range. His wife, who was in the care with him, was not harmed.
