Halle Berry took her baby daddy Gabriel Aubry to court, claiming he's trying to make their 6yr old daughter white. In court documents, Halle said Aubry was straightening and lightening Nahla's naturally-curly hair in an effort to make her appear less Black.

According to TMZ, a judge has ordered Gabriel to stop what he's doing with Nahla's hair. He ruled that neither Halle nor Gabriel could change Nahla's look from its natural state moving forward. The judge is allowing Nahla's hair to grow back naturally.

Literary Icon, Prof Wole Soyinka, revealed today at a press conference in Abeokuta Ogun state, that he's a cancer survivor. He said his appointment as a board member of the African Cancer Centre made him undergo a routine checkup last year which revealed he had cancer. He said he was diagnosed with the disease in December 2013.
"It never occurred to me to test myself because men have their separate test like women and I have heard people who lost very dear ones, closed ones. They just told me, ‘Prof, we hope you’re having your own?’ And I told them I had one 10 years ago and he said, “No, no, do it regularly.” And by accident in December last year, I discovered that I had cancer.”.

A Federal High court sitting in Abuja has freed Aminu Oguche, the suspected mastermind of the Nyanya bomb blast which killed about 70 people in April.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the court in it's ruling, dismissed the two counts terrorism charges brought against him and freed him based on lack of diligent prosecution by the state.



Aminu escaped to Sudan after allegedly coordinating the attack. He was apprehend and repatriated to Nigeria in July. More photos of him in court today after the cut...

The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has called on the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, to write a letter to members of Boko Haram to stop their attacks just as he did to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Pastor Oritsejafor made the call today at a 2-day meeting in Abuja with Senior Special Assistants on Religious Affairs to all state governors.
“His Eminence said he wrote a letter to ISIS, I have to truly congratulate you for that because that was a very good move. I didn’t know about it until today and I am so glad it happened. But I want to appeal that you also write to Boko Haram because Boko Haram is worst than ISIS.
They have killed more people than ISIS, they have caused more atrocities than ISIS; they need to be written to as well, it is very important it will help. I have made an appeal several times that there are some of our leaders who must come together, religious, political and traditional. They must come and discuss.’’ he said

Two years after losing their mum, the Okoye boys have lost their father. Mr Okoye died today November 24th. Thousands of people flooded the streets from L.A. to New York late Monday night after a grand jury decided they were not going to indict officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of unarmed 18 year old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, saying that officer Wilson acted 'lawful'.

The jury was of course composed of 12 people; six white men, three white women, two black women and one black man. They met on 25 separate days and heard more than 70 hours of testimony from about 60 witnesses, including three medical examiners and other experts on blood, toxicology and firearms. And decided officer Brown did nothing wrong by killing a black unarmed teen 6 times.

The mother and father were discovered by a cleaner who heard moaning coming from a private room on the maternity ward.
The worker told hospital bosses what she had found but was informed there are no rules against having sex on the ward at St Michael's Hospital, in Bristol. (picture above)

Cameroonian investigative journalist, Bisong Etahoben, tweeted yesterday that a close confidant of Chadian President IIdriss Derby, Mahamat Gnoti was arrested on Nov. 17th on the Chadian-Sudan border with arms meant for Boko Haram.

Gnoti then claimed that he was sent to procure the arms and deliver it to people in Nigeria by Chadian president himself, Idris Derby. Derby is the same person who tried to negotiate the release of Chibok girls with Boko Haram on behalf of the Nigerian government. See more tweets after the cut...

28 Christians were killed yesterday morning Nov. 22nd after Islamic Shebab extremists ambushed a bus in Kenya as it headed for Nairobi from Mandera, a town close to Somalia. 

According to reports, the heavily armed extremists separated the Muslims from the Christians by asking them to recite verses from the Qu'ran. Then they ordered the Muslims to get off the bus and then shot the Christians point blank in the head before escaping back to Somalia.

A Spokesman for Shebab later said the 28 travelers were killed in retaliation for a raid on mosques in  Mombasa, Kenya last week.


A Lebanese graveyard guard, Deab Saiqly, who loves to spend time in the graveyard, dug up his mother's grave and took a selfie with the corpse, according to an MBC TV report.
The MBC TV Channel interviewed the man and asked a psychologist to analyze the case, and the man seemed very normal and showed no sign of any mental problems.
Deab, during the interview, said he feels happiness being among the dead. He also side he rejected a proposal for marriage from a lady in the US because he did not want to leave the grave where he works. He says he often takes selfies with corpses, but only kept the picture with his mother.
