According to twitter user A.S Aruwa, two cars loaded with arms, ammunitions and explosives were intercepted along airport road in Maiduguri, Borno state this morning. APC Presidential campaign is billed to hold in the state today. Angry youths set one of the cars ablaze.

Egypt has launched air strikes on ISIS hours after the terror group released a video showing the beheading of 21 Coptic Christians in Libya. The very graphic and disturbing video was released last night and it showed the terrorists, all dressed in head to toe in black, marching the captives, all wearing orange jumpsuits, to a beach where they were all beheaded by each militant standing behind them.

Nothing has been confirmed and hopefully it's not even true but according to rumours, the two were quite cosy at the backstage of her Fashion for Relief charity show at the New York Fashion Week event yesterday Feb. 14th. They were later photographed holding hands as they left the backstage. Ibrahim Tijani, a 29 year old bricklayer is currently being detained at the Ogombo police station in the Okun Ajah area of Lagos state for killing his 57 year old neighbor, Bashorun Okanla during an argument that ensued over fumes emanating from his generator.

According to Punch, the men reside at an uncompleted building in the Okun Ajah. Ogombo area of Lagos state. On the day of the unfortunate incident,  Bashorun Okanla had approached Tijani  and told him that the fumes coming out of his generator was disturbing him. An argument ensued and one person ended up dying.

On Saturday February 14th, about 9 or 20 (depends on which version you believe) women from Bayelsa State were burnt to death in a multiple vehicle accident at Ahoada, in Bayelsa after visiting First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan.  I now have very graphic photos from the scene. Yeah, it's happened to comedian turned movie producer, Ayo Makun, too. His popular movie, 30 Days in Atlanta, which is Nigeria's highest grossing cinema movie of all time, has been pirated. The pirates are now selling copies of the movie on the streets of Lagos. Below is his open letter to IGP.

Dear sir,

It is with the deepest sorrow that I pen these words. I have never understood the true meaning of the saying “only the one wearing the shoes feels the pain”, till recent times. Since the advent of Independent Producers, piracy has become the bane of the industry because as the saying goes ‘monkey de work, baboon de chop’.

Comedian Seyi Law and his wife are reported to have lost their new born baby girl a few hours after birthing her recently in an American hospital.
This is so sad,I pray God consoles them and wipes away their pain with another multiple bundle of Joy soon.

Their pain will end in praise - Amen!

This happened somewhere in Kenya. According to instagram user @dennis_pirate, he witnessed his client propose to his girlfriend yesterday. She said yes and he gifted her with a new helicopter as an engagement present. Very unique! But what's she going to do with a helicopter? Lol. A man in love!

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday came hard again on President Jonathan and his style of governance, claiming that President Jonathan is afraid that if Gen Buhari wins the election, he might jail him when he leaves office. Obasanjo said this while speaking to newsmen at his home in Abeokuta shortly after his return from his trip to Kenya and UK.

Obasanjo said President Jonathan was doing everything possible to win the elections, either by hook or by crook. He said president Jonathan is playing the cards of former Cote d’Ivoire President, Laurent Gbagbo who continued shifting elections in his country in a bid to ensure that he won the election, a situation that plunged Cote d'Ivoire into political crisis. He said President Jonathan was reigning and not ruling after he said in his last media chat he was not aware of the military's advise that the election be postponed.
