While campaigning for APC at the Degema Obonoma and Abonnema communities in Degema and Akuku-Toru Local government area of Rivers state yesterday March 3rd, Gov Rotimi Amaechi was quoted as saying to the people to vote for their stomach and not because their brother, President Jonathan was in the race to be re-elected as President.
"This election is not about brother, it is about your stomach. If dollar likes, it can get to N300 or N400 to a dollar, the President can afford it but you can’t afford it. Now they tried everything possible to stop the dollar from losing control. They couldn’t because the economy will determine whether the dollar will lose control or not and the economy has done that already. Another one is fuel. They have done everything possible to pay for fuel. They can’t pay. The money is not there. Now, there is fuel crisis.

Karrueche just tweeted this. She has said her goodbye to Chris Brown. For some reason, I kind of feel she means it this time. We all heard today that Chris is the father of a 9months old daughter. She probably read it on TMZ like we all read it. And if she's dumping him over it, it means it's true. Poor Karrueche! She must be hurting

Remember the woman who caused twitter meltdown in the UK after she appeared on the Jeremy Kyle Show with that set of teeth? (Read here). Well, she gained something from that appearance. After people poked fun at her, the show bosses decided to pay for her teeth to be fixed. There are rumours that it cost about £10,000 for the woman to get new set of teeth (pictured left).

A source exclusively told Mirror Celeb: "A camera crew went to her house and they filmed the whole thing. She was awake during the treatment and she's got to go on The Jeremy Kyle Show again on Thursday." Good for her!!

“The new entrants will be treated equally and fairly, and we should all work to ensure the success of the party at the forthcoming polls at all levels,’’ Ms. Milgoma said.

Ghana's presidential jet, a Falcon 900, caught fire as it attempted to take off at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra, the Ghanaian capital today March 3rd. According to a statement by Ghana Armed Forces, the fire was as a result of 'friction between the wheels & the runway surface.'

A spokesman man said the craft was on its way to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea on a mission when the incident happened. The passengers were safely evacuated and no life was lost.

A few days ago, a bizarre video was posted on Youtube showing a naked man climbing down from a window at Buckingham Palace. The incident was captured by a bystander who shared the video online but some people think it's a hoax as it didn't make sense to them that a completely naked man would be climbing the walls of the Queen of England's home. Plus the Palace declined to comment on the video. See another photo after the cut...

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo says he does not have a twitter or Facebook account. Obasanjo said this while addressing media reports claiming he used his twitter handle to describe Fani-Kayode as a democracy wrecker.
"Fani-Kayode is a democracy wrecker, who’s very fluent in stupidity. Give him food, and he will sing and do “shoki” dance for you.”. the handle tweeted over the weekend.
Denying he tweeted it, Obasanjo said;
"I don’t know where this comes from. I don’t have any account on either the Facebook or Twitter again. Go and block it. Let me say that, nemesis will catch up with anyone doing this. It is illegal and criminal. If I have to pass any message to the good people of Nigeria, I know how to go about it with no controversy" he said

Jimi Agbaje posted this on his Facebook page this morning. It's a response to Governor Fashola's comments that Agbaje's company only paid his taxes after he was publicly called out. Read below...
The Honourable Governor B.R. Fashola (SAN) has lied again and I think it's time to address his repeated blunder.
With regards to my taxes, there is no truth in this latest piece of misinformation that the Honourable Governor has been peddling. Following the repudiation of his initial allegations about Jaykay Pharmaceuticals unpaid taxes, he has lied again, giving the impression that my company has gone to pay money supposedly owed to the government.

Kanye West shared a kiss with his wife as he received the Visionary Award at the 2015 BET Honors, which was broadcast yesterday night after being taped last month.

For his acceptance speech, Mr West turned to a human rights activist...lol. Kanye began by saying he felt humbled for the first time in his life and then used his relationship with Kim, who is a “person not of color” to talk about race and separatism. He thanked Kim and told everyone that she wasn't in a relationship with him for his fame or fortune
“My wife has dated broke black dudes so it ain’t got nothing to do with the money.”
