The remains of veteran actor, Peter Bunor who died earlier this month following protracted illness will be laid to rest today at his home-town, Ogwash-Uku in Delta State.

According to funeral arrangements released by the family, the Service of songs took place yesterday Friday, May 29, 2015 at his residence located along Dominion Hostel, through Nshiagu College, Delta State Polytechnic Road, Ogwash-Uku.

Funeral service and internment will hold at the same venue today Saturday, May 30 from 10am while reception follows immediately at the same venue. May his soul rest in Peace.. Amen

During his inaugural speech, President Muhammadu Buhari said Nigerians will not regret giving his administration their mandate. He appreciated the immediate Past President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan for conceding defeat during the election. On Boko Haram, he said this will be tackled head on. He said the group is a group of small fire causing a big fire. He said the Command and Control center of the Nigerian Army will be in Maiduguri Borno state until Boko Haram is defeated.

The pontiff did not reveal why he gave up watching TV, except to say he decided it wasn't for him, before promising the Virgin Mary he wouldn't watch again.

U.S. Marine Cpl. Caleb Earwood wanted a moment to pray with his bride-to-be Maggie before their wedding ceremony on Saturday. Now the photo of the couple holding hands in prayer has gone viral.

The ceremony was about to start in Asheville, N.C., when Caleb went to the cabin where Maggie was preparing for the wedding ceremony. The couple then joined their hands around a corner to not break the tradition of the groom seeing his bride before the altar.

"They hid me in a room and he stepped up on the stairwell and he stuck his hand out and I grabbed his hand," Maggie Earwood told ABC News.

National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG National President, Mr. Igwe Achese, at a briefing in Lagos, yesterday said fuel scarcity will continue to be part of Nigeria’s socio-economic problems if certain things are not fixed like if  the country’s refineries remain grounded, importation of petroleum products continues, subsidy persists, deregulation ignored and depot not rehabilitated.
Achese in his speech blamed the current scarcity of fuel on Lagos State government, who he said gave tanker drivers 24 hours, instead of the two weeks they asked for, to leave Oshodin-Apapa Expressway.

Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde, yesterday indicted the outgoing Jonathan administration, blaming it over the poor performance of the agency.
Speaking through the commission’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, the EFCC boss, blamed its inability to tackle corruption on inadequate funding from the outgoing government.
