A hospital is investigating the death of a newborn baby sent home the day after a traumatic birth - as his distraught young parents waited over two hours for a midwife.
Colby Risso was born to 16 year-old mother Caitlin Walsh 2 weeks ago after a problematic 11 day labour.
Immediately after the birth Caitlin and her partner Jack Risso, 19, noticed the left side of the baby's face was droopy and his eye would not open properly.
They say they were told by hospital midwives that Colby would be checked out but heard nothing more.

The website also boasted that it was '100% secure' - well, that was until last month. Hackers this week released massive data - which had names of 32million men who cheated on the partners.

The hackers, who have a problem with the website, told the owners to take it offline or they would be attacked. When they refused, they hacked the website & released 32 million names, addresses, phone numbers, and sexual preferences of cheating married men for their wives to find.

Canadian police are on the hunt for a couple from Brooklyn whose infant somehow wound up locked in a hotel safe in Niagara Falls. The family was staying at a Howard Johnson on Tuesday morning when the parents summoned help from staff and said their child was locked in the safe, police said. This is the grandson of Winnie and Nelson Mandela being accused of rape. Mbuso Mandela, 24, has been arrested and is being held in jail until a bail hearing this Friday. 
The victim, a 15 year old girl told police she met Mbuso while dining with friends at a popular Johannesburg restaurant and when she went to the restroom, Mbuso followed her and raped her inside. Read previous story here

A boutique refused to give a woman a cash refund for her wedding dress after her husband to be died unexpectedly. Val Conway's fiancee Graham Thomas tragically passed away after a sudden illness eight weeks before their big day - which was to be next Saturday.

Val says she bought her dress from the boutique and while she says the shop staff were "extremely sympathetic" it was made clear that it wasn't their policy to refund money.
