A woman and a baby are reported to be among the dead. Rescuers are searching through the rubble at the scene in Cinar district, Diyarbakir province.
The bomb was detonated at the entrance of the police complex, officials say. The blast also damaged nearby residential buildings.
The attackers then reportedly fired rockets at the headquarters.
Diyarbakir province has seen violent clashes between PKK separatists and the Turkish army in recent months.
Last year, the city of Diyarbakir and a number of other areas in the south-east were put under curfew as part of a security crackdown.

While Taylor swift was on a romantic dinner date with her Scottish DJ boyfriend, Calvin Harris on Tuesday night, a young fan interrupted their dinner and asked to take a photo with the couple...and then he did something quite creative.. the photo has since gone viral!

 The young fan named Ricky Selby picked up a food menu and pretended he was out with them, having dinner as he perused the menu. He shared the photo on instagram, writing "Awesome dinner with mom and dad' along with a knife and fork emoji."

Justice Ibrahim Buba of a federal high court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, has ordered the arrest of former Niger Delta militant, Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo for failing to honor a court summon this morning. Tompolo was summoned to appear before the court to answer to a N13 billion land acquisition deal he had with the last administration.

The EFCC is alleging that Tompolo fraudulently sold the land to the Goodluck Jonathan administration. The land is meant for the construction of the Nigerian Maritime University. Tompolo had yesterday stated that he had not received any court order summoning him.

A man waiting for his wife in her car surprised passers by doing something quite disgusting. The pot bellied Michigan man drove with his wife to the Big Top Market in Wyoming, Kent County and waited in the car while she stepped out to buy stuff for the family. He then pulled his white underpants down to urinate in a cup.

He couldn't hold the urine any longer after over drinking and instead brought out his genitals to urinate in a cup without knowing he was being viewed on cctv. Rules in Michigan means this man could be arrested if police gets the footage because urinating in public is a crime and unveiling of one's genitals can land one in the sex offender's register, and even though he was in his car, some folks are offended by it. The Federal Capital Territory has recorded it's first death of the deadly viral disease, Lassa Fever. Minister of Health, Prof Isaac Oyewole made this known during a visit to the National Hospital, Abuja where the patient died.

The medical director of the hospital, Jack Momoh, while confirming the death, said the patient, a 33 year old newly married man, was brought in unconscious from a private hospital in Kubwa, a suburb of Abuja, where he had been admitted for eight days.

He however died within 24hours of being at the national hospital.‎ Search for all the primary and second contact of the deceased is ongoing.

The Anambra State Government alerts members of the public about the resurgence of Avian Influenza popularly called Bird Flu in some states across the country. This disease which is usually associated with birds can also be transmitted from bird to man. Bird Flu can be transmitted through direct contact with infected birds or poultry materials.
The Symptoms of the disease include fever, sneezing, cough, diarrhea, trouble breathing, general ill feeling, muscle aches, runny nose and sore throat. Members of the public are by this announcement advised to observe personal hygiene, and to wash their hands with soap and clean water after contact with birds and poultry product.

An Ethiopian woman, Jinat Farid was found guilty of killing Ghalia Eida al-Harithi by striking her repeatedly with an axe as the victim knelt to perform Muslim prayers, the ministry said in a statement carried by state news agency, SPA. After killing Harithi, Farid stole two gold rings and an unspecified amount of money, the ministry said. She was executed in the western city of Taif.

The ministry did not specify any connection between the culprit and the victim, but the kingdom hosts large numbers of domestic workers that come from African and South Asian countries. Source:AFP

A man wanted by Ohio police sent authorities a selfie because he was unhappy with the mugshot being circulated on his arrest warant. Donald Pugh says the unflattering mugshot made him look "like I was a Thundercat" 
Donald "Chip" Pugh was wanted for a failure to appear in several cases including arson and vandalism, according to Lima Police Department. In a post on its Facebook page, Lima Police urged people to contact them if they spotted Pugh - along with an 'unflattering' mugshot of the 45-year-old
Pugh then sent an image of himself sitting in a car wearing sunglasses, with the comment:
"Here is a better photo that one is terrible."
