A man opened the emergency exit door when his flight was about to take off on Wednesday, because he “just wanted to get some fresh air”, according to reports.
The morning flight from Chengdu to Urumqi in China was delayed for nearly an hour, while airport ground staff shut the door, investigated the man and carried out further safety checks and procedures on the plane.
The man explained that he mistook the handle to the emergency door for a lever that could be used to roll down the window.

Talented 3D artists, Saumya and Shakun, have painted a frightening driving scenario on an Indian street in an attempt to reduce traffic accidents. The street in Gujarat is infamous for road traffic accidents and in an attempt to encourage users to slow down, they created the illusion that the road is extending out over a deep body of water. It is thought to be the first of its kind in India.

A Federal high court sitting in Abuja has granted embattled former Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh, bail in the sum N2bn and two sureties in the sum of N1bn each. Delivering judgement at the hearing of his bail application today March 10th, the presiding judge, Justice Okon Abang, ordered Badeh to deposit his passport at the court. He also ruled that the sureties must be residents of Abuja.

Badeh is standing trial for the misappropriation of  N1.1 billion meant for the Nigeria Airforce and also for being involved in the $2.1 billion arms deal scandal.
