AY the Comedian who was once an ambassador of Lekki Gardens, has written an open letter to Nigerians asking people to be fair to the MD of Lekki Gardens, Richard Nyong who was arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Ebutte Metta over the death of 35 people in the collapse of a 5-storey building which was being constructed by his company in Lekki, Lagos. The beheaded students have been identified as Samuel, a 300L Political Science student and Chukwuebuka Benedict Nwaigbo, Estate Management, 300L. A third person who was present during the attack was critically injured and currently receiving treatment at a hospital. He is however not a member of any cult group. Sergeant Amos Olaniyan (pictured right) who was verbally dismissed from the Nigeria Police Force in 1994 over allegations of collecting bribe, has been reinstated into the force after the senate intervened in his matter. Olaniyan was verbally dismissed in 1994 on a baseless allegation of bribery which an Orderly Room Trial discharged and acquitted him of but the police refused to recall him.

A 42 year old man, Thomas McIntyre slashed his neighbour's throat, 27 year old James Gunn, at his doorstep after complaining that the music from his housewarming party in his home in Glasgow was too loud and was keeping his child awake, according to the Daily Record reports.
