28 year old Adamu Magaji Mai-Bisco who hacked his parents and two sisters to death while they were sleeping on Monday night May 16th, said that he killed them because he was scared of being reported to the police for his drug abuse.
“I didn’t have much problem with my parents but they hated me. I became worried that one day they would drag me before the police or some other law enforcement agency, that is why I acted this way,” he told DailyTrust in his detention room at the Potiskum Police station.

A 66-year-old Texas missionary has admitted molesting eight children at an orphanage in Malawi, the US Justice Department says. Gerald Campbell used his position as general manager of the home to lure his victims into his accommodation and assault them.
He pleaded guilty on Wednesday, May 18 in a Texas magistrate's court to one count of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in a foreign place. Campbell admitted engaging in sexual acts with eight minors between 1997 and 2009 in the southern African country.

Area Boys reportedly stormed the area and wreaked havoc that left one or two people killed and several others injured.

There was a fire outbreak early this morning at a hostel in the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The Fire incident which occurred in the Udi Hall of residence, was said to have started from the Man O' War room and affected a block of the hostel. Vernon Davis who plays for the Washington Redskins was called out on Instagram by his long term fiancee, Janel Horne who accused him of cheating on her with a 20-year-old.

Since Monday, Davis, 32, has made three Instagram posts on his own account. In one, he wrote 'When people do these things we should hold hands and pray for them,' along with a picture of a Bible quotation that mentions stealing and lying.
