A Nigerian national identified as Arinze Eneh has been sentenced to 20 years in jail and fined Rp1.2 billion for facilitating narcotic drug distribution.
"Arinze was proven to have conspired to commit an evil act by becoming a facilitator in the distribution of Category I narcotic drug," chief judge of the West Jakarta district court, Bambang Mursito, said while reading out the verdict on Wednesday, May 18.

A man has been arrested for allegedly raping and killing a nine-year-old boy who went missing in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, on Friday, May 20. Police began searching for Obaida after he was reported missing from his home in the industrial area of Sharjah.

A Danfo driver died yesterday May 22nd during a fight with a police officer in Igando, Lagos state. According to eyewitness report, the policeman had stopped the bus and asked for bribe and when the bus driver refused to give him any money, he dragged him from the bus and began beating him. Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, has issued a warning to aggrieved factional party loyalists of the Peoples Democratic Party over alleged plans to attack their National Headquarters and forcefully occupy it today. In a new statement just released, the party loyalists were warned not to threaten public peace and order in the Federal Capital Territory or face the consequences. The statement reads,
