An Egyptian forensic official investigating the crash of EgyptAir Flight 804 says that human remains retrieved from the Mediterranean Sea, which have been examined, point to an explosion taking place on board the aircraft, according to AP.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not allowed to release information concerning the investigation, said the forensics team has to deal with very small body parts.

Imani Evans and her mother, Sue were allegedly racially abused and rejected on the doorsteps of swanky London venue, The Voice reports.

Yewande Oyediran, the woman who stabbed her husband, 38 year old Oyediran Ajanaku to death at their Akobo estate home in Ibadan, Oyo state on February 2nd after a domestic dispute, will appear in court today May 24th. Yewande who is a lawyer and a Staff of the Directorate of public prosecution at the Ministry of Justice, Ibadan, Oyo state, is being tried for the murder of her late husband.

 
In an apparent suicide attempt, a man jumped into a lion enclosure at a zoo in Chile. 

According to CNN, the man climbed over the fence Saturday and removed his clothes before approaching the lions. A note found in his clothes suggested was apparently attempting suicide. 

 
A 71-year-old Swiss great grand mother has been told by court officials that she cannot marry her 21-year-old fiancé whom she met online for fears that she would be used for immigration scam. But the retired secretary denied the allegation levelled against her fiancé saying that they both genuinely loved each other and  shared interests in 'rap music and country walks'.

Former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has reacted to reports that went round last week that a court asked her to account for N30 trillion. A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos last week ordered her and the Goodluck Jonathan led administration to account for N30 trillion missing or unaccounted for while they were in government (read here). Okonjo-Iweala says she's not gotten any court order and that the report is politically motivated.
