85 African migrants' bodies, including 2 children wash up in the coastal town of Zuwara, Libya
The bodies of at least 85 migrants who drowned trying to cross the
Mediterranean were found washed up from the beaches of the coastal town
of Zuwara, on Thursday afternoon, June 2, a Red Cross official said.
They are believed to be migrants who perished in a string of shipwrecks that took place inside Libyan waters late last week. Al-Khamis al-Bosaifi said most of the migrants appeared to be from sub-Saharan Africa, though their bodies were decomposed and it was not clear when they drowned. The bodies of two children were among those recovered.

stole a dead man's credit card and used it to buy expensive diamond.
A disgraced ex-NYPD officer pleaded guilty Tuesday to buying a diamond
ring with a credit card she found on the body of a dead Manhattan man,
New York Post reports.
The report revealed that the former police officer identified as Ymmacula Pierre, 30, was charged with a misdemeanor theft rap and was sentenced to a conditional discharge. She previously agreed to resign from the NYPD.

Students riot at Federal Polytechnic Auch, Edo state

today. According to some students of the school, the protest started
when three students were allegedly shot dead by security officers. They
