Labour strike: Fayose writes NLC President, blames national economic crisis for non-payment of workers salary Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has replied the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Ayuba Wabba, attributing the State's inability to pay workers salary regularly to the current downturn in the nation's economy and the heavy loan burden left by his predecessor.
The governor, in his response to the NLC President's letter on the ongoing workers strike in the State, called on the NLC to join the advocacy for fiscal restructuring in Nigeria with a view to reviewing the federation allocation formular in favour of States, towards a lasting solution to the palpable indigent status of most States. The letter read;

Muhammad Ali, the self-proclaimed greatest boxer of all time, has died aged 74 after a 32-year battle with Parkinson's disease. 

The legendary fighter died with his family at his side on Friday evening, a day after he was rushed to hospital outside Phoenix, Arizona, with difficulty breathing.

'After a 32-year battle with Parkinson's disease, Muhammad Ali has passed away at the age of 74. The three-time World Heavyweight Champion boxer died this evening,' Ali's spokesman said.

A member of a notorious gang operating across the south-south and south-east of the country, Gogo Daniel Ume (aka Full Payment), has told the police about how he usually donated food items and gifts to his church after every successful operation.

Lamar Odom's family and friends believe he's back on hard drugs -- and tell us they recently confronted the NBA star and questioned him about crack pipes in his home. 

The elderly woman pictured has allegedly been abandoned on the road, for over two weeks in Iyana Ipaja, Lagos State. According to the twitter user who shared the pictures, her children were the ones who left her there. People around somehow managed to get their numbers to call them to pick her up but they allegedly refused to come. Relevant authorities should kindly find a way to help the woman
