Suspected killers of  Bridget Agbahime were on Friday, June 10, arraigned before a Kano State Magistrate court.

A large number of youths gathered at the popular Kofar Wambai market on June 2, 2016, to take part in a protest that eventually led to the killing of Mrs Agbahime alleged blasphemy against the prophet of Islam. The 75-year-old who hails from Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State, was hacked to death by the angry mob, a killing which sparked international outrage.

Two young ladies named Funmi and Shola who lost their lives at a friend's birthday party in Elegushi Beach were on the verge of completing their Masters in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, sadly lost their lives after being carried away by heavy tides which swept them into the Atlantic Ocean. There were no safety measures like an emergency medical unit, patrol unit or even life guards to assist them.

The Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) and the Kaduna State Command SIB operatives recently smashed a deadly kidnapping/armed robbery gang and arrested 4 suspects in connection with the kidnapping and subsequent murder of an army officer, Col. Samaila Yunusa, in Kaduna on 27th March, 2016. The names of the four suspects were revealed yesterday and they are presently in Police custody until their arraignment before a court of law.

There is still chaos at the single pedestrian bridge located at Ojota bus-stop on Ikorodu Road, following the upsurge in its usage after KAI and RRS operatives were positioned by the two sides of the road to arrest anyone who crosses it.

The state’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Steve Ayorinde, revealed in April that another bridge would be constructed to reduce the long time pedestrians were spending on queue. This however hasn't reduced choas from erupting on the bridge everyday.

Gov. Shettima of Borno State on Wednesday inspected 20 out of the 106 trucks of foodstuffs which was donated by Alh. Aliko Dangote through his foundation, the Dangote Foundation. The items which started arriving Maiduguri some few days ago include Rice, Sugar, Flour, Semolina, noodles and many others. The remaining 86 trucks are expected to arrive the state very soon.

This young lady took to Twitter to share how a wild sexual intercourse with her boyfriend landed her in the hospital. While trying to take all of 'him', he broke her 'cervix and may have punctured her uterus'.
She was rushed to the emergency room where a doctor who examined her said her cervix was swollen. She was given meds and warned to avoid sex for at least 12 hours. Yes, just 12 hours.

A frightening video shows 30-year-old Craig Bonello calmly pushing a shopping cart, then walks toward a 13-year-old girl and her mum. Grabbed the girl and started dragging her away from her mum. Fortunately, the girl's mum got into action and started running after the man  who was dragging her daughter on the floor.

The frightening part was that this was in broad daylight, there were other shoppers in sight and there was a tug of war between the mum and the suspect. One would think that the would-be abductor would have fled once the mum saw what he was trying to do, but no, he kept dragging the girl and fighting off the mum.

Remember the story about twin sisters, 37 year old Anastasia Duval, who was killed, and 37 year old Alexandria Duval who was arrested after they got in an argument and she drove them off a cliff? Well, after Alexandria was arrested. she was jailed on a second-degree murder charge and accused of deliberately causing her sister's death, a judge on Wednesday ordered Alexandria's release after determining there was no probable cause for a murder charge.
