Rivers state last night August 29th. According to family sources, he was
murdered at his home. Atsuete has been speaking on behalf of the APC

Death of Nigerian social worker at a sex party in the UK ruled as accident
The death of 35-year-old Nigerian social worker who died at a James
Bond-themed swingers party after he told his friend he was attending an
evening church service has been ruled as an accident on Thursday, August
25th, 2016 at Herts Coroner's Court. Edmund Echukwu, who was born in
Nigeria and lived at Springwood Crescent in Edgware, attended the
swingers party at Littlecroft on Theobald Street in Radlett but later
died after he was pulled from the bottom of a swimming pool in the early
hours of March 28 2015.
Mum drowns saving her two-year-old son who fell off their boat in Utah lake
A 33-year-old mother, Chelsey J. Russell of Lakewood Colorado, died
while rescuing her two-year-old son who had fallen into Lake Powell,
Utah, from a boat they were travelling in. The whole family was out
boating on the landmark lake when the 2 year old boy fell overboard.
Chelsey jumped in after him to save him from drowning while other family
members tried to stop the houseboat they were in and turn it around to
pick both of them up.
Stella Oduah's 28 year old son dies in Abuja Hospital
Former Minister of Aviation and now senator, Stella Oduah, yesterday
lost her son. According to family sources, the 28 year old man died
after a brief illness. He has been on admission at a private hospital in
Abuja for an undisclosed ailment. May his soul rest in peace Amen.

Polish Olympian sells Rio silver medal to help 3-year-old boy with eye cancer
Polish discus thrower Piotr Malachowski sold the silver medal he won at
the Rio de Janeiro Olympics to help pay for the medication of a
3-year-old boy suffering from eye cancer.
Malachowski wrote, according to Facebook's translation: "In Rio I fought for gold," "Today, I appeal to everyone -- let's fight together about something that is even more precious. The health of this fantastic boy."

The consignment of shoes where the cocaine was discovered was said to

NDLEA investigates the arrest of 3 pilgrims in Saudi Arabia over alleged drug trafficking
Chairman/Chief Executive of the National Drug Law
Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Col. Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah (retd.) has
ordered investigation into the arrest of three Nigerian pilgrims in
Saudi Arabia in connection with substances suspected to be cocaine.
Abdallah who expressed disappointment over the unfortunate incident
constituted a panel of inquiry headed by the Director of Operations and
General Investigation, Mr. Olugbenga Mabo to immediately investigate the
incident adding that the Agency will address the situation with every
sense of seriousness and urgency. The Agency had also deployed more
investigators to all the screening camps nationwide. In a press release yesterday, August 26th, the NDLEA boss said,

A 21-year-old woman was caught with a balloon tucked in her clothes
under the guise of being pregnant in order to steal a baby from a
hospital.
The suspect identified as Purity Kiritu was admitted at Othaya District Hospital, Kenya on Wednesday, August 24th, at about 7:30 pm after pretending she was in labour.

6.2-magnitude earthquake rocks central Italy, at least 22 dead and more feared buried under rubble
A powerful earthquake rocked Italy overnight killing at least 22 people.
People were crushed by falling buildings and a lot more buried alive
under rubble as they slept. The 6.2-magnitude quake hit at around 3.30am
local time and was so powerful it rocked buildings in the centre of
Rome more than 100 miles away and was felt across Italy. As daylight
dawned, residents, civil protection workers and even priests began
digging out with shovels, bulldozers and their bare hands, trying to
reach survivors.
