A man met the ghastliest of scenes yesterday, September 15th, when he went to visit a friend who lived in a sugar cane plantation in Udon, Thailand.
 
Teerayut Promkhao, 40, called out to his friend thinking he was still asleep in the early morning hours. But he was not in his bed under the mosquito net, reported Daily News.


So he went to the kitchen area and found a trail of blood leading outside. His friend's head and torso was stuffed in a fertilizer sack.

A man, his junior wife, two children and a visiting uncle, were found dead at their home at Isale-Oyo community in Atiba Local Government of Oyo State on Wednesday September 14th.‎

According to residents of the community, the junior wife had just completed the house which she bought when it was under construction. They moved into the building on Tuesday September 14th in preparation for the house warming which was slated for Wednesday when they died.

A while ago, A man named  Zaradn Espee wrote about Musa Halidu A.K.A 'Mai Ice Cream' a man who has been selling ice cream for over three decades in Kaduna State.
He wanted to reward the vendor for not only all the free ice cream he gave him and other kids 30 years ago but to also make life easier for him. He called on well meaning Nigerians to contribute towards the cause. Not only did the post get many retweets, shares and reposts, many people made donation.

Wife of former South African President, Winnie Madikizela Mandela looked amazing as she celebrated her upcoming 80th birthday(Sept 26th) with a dinner at the renowned Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town on yesterday Wednesday night September 14th.

26 year old Danish man, Sunnel Thuesem, a bicyclist, was warmly received by some Cross Rivers state government officials yesterday after he rode a bicycle from Denmark to Nigeria (Lagos-Benin-Calabar) and enroute Cameroon to South Africa. Among the appointees who received the young Danish bicyclist were Prince Godswill Edward (ex president Jonathan's son in-law) who is the special adviser to the state governor Ben Ayade on Youth Affairs, S.A Sports Mr. Effiwatt. and Mr. Eric Anderson S.A Tourism. Julie Apicella from UK shared photos of her daughter, Emily who died  in December 2015 after a three year battle with cancer. The photo on the left shows Emily in her uniform in 2015, while the other which was taken in 2016,  is a photo of the same room but shows just an empty space.

The heartbroken mother accompanied the images with a touching Facebook post. Her post went viral prompting heartfelt reactions.

There was a fire incident involving a commercial passenger bus set for Onitsha on Wednesday, at Anthony B/stop bridge, Inward Gbagada, Oshodi, Lagos. However, there with no casualties as everyone was able to promptly exit the bus. The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency response unit has since towed the bus. More photos after the cut.

According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), this motor accident happened at Alapere bus-stop, Ketu and it was caused by drunk driving. Victims were attended to at the scene and vehicles towed away.

A man, Long Vang, 34, is being charged with murder after his girlfriend Jessica Damian Haban, 28, who is the mother of his two children and partner for 11 years, committed suicide in their home.

A criminal complaint says that on May 11, 2015, Haban called 911 to report that Vang was allegedly throwing things at her.

The police in Lagos State have arrested a 26-year-old undergraduate, Ademola Adebayo, for allegedly defrauding seven ladies he met on Facebook.

Our correspondent learnt that Adebayo, a 400-Level student of Computer Science, allegedly lured the ladies by uploading some rich pictures on Facebook, and asking his victims to meet him at a location, usually a hotel on the pretext that he had deals for them.

After setting up a hidden camera in his car, the boyfriend gave his lover a present inside a cute heart-shaped box and wrapped in a pink bow. The girlfriend or any other person looking at the gift will think its a box of chocolates, but upon opening the gift the girl was faced with her biggest horror.
