A 36-year-old man killed his 33-year-old sister, critically injured his 59-year-old mother, then turned the weapon on himself.

The horrific incident happened at a high-rise flat in Wolverhampton, UK. The sister died at the scene, the man died a short while later and their mother who is in a critical condition with serious stab wounds to her abdomen has undergone surgery and is receiving further treatment at the hospital.

This is indeed sickening! A footage circulating online shows the moment two men broke a woman's leg in the opposite direction. What makes it even more bizarre is that they did it with encouragement from the woman.
The trio were drunk, having been drinking together on the bench visible in the video, and the woman apparently came up with the request that the men should break her leg. Obliging her, the woman got in position, putting her foot on the bench and holding on to one of the men, while the other man got in position to break her leg.

A Nigerian Navy (NN) Seaman, Haruna Umar, has been dismissed from service after he was caught with 14.55kg of Marijuana.

Umar was dismissed and handed over to operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) after a court martial found him guilty of the offence.

The suspect was arrested in June last year after he was caught with the drugs.

Isaac Sackey is said to have handed himself over to the police after stabbing the said prostitute two times in the stomach and thigh on Wednesday, March 8th.

No fewer than five people were killed after a helicopter crashed into the Endem TV tower shortly after taking off in Istanbul. The helicopter was flying in dense fog when it crashed with seven people on board. Four of them were Russians, one was a Turkish official then the two pilots...

The helicopter took off from Itsanbul's Ataturk Airport at 11:16 a.m. and crashed five minutes later in Istanbul's Buyukcekmece district.

The attack happened at the city's main train station, Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof, when the 36-year-old attacker reportedly jumped out of a train and began to attack people indiscriminately.

A 42-year-old Malaysian housewife was today, March 10th, charged with murdering her Indonesian maid and brutally abusing her Cambodian maid last month.

Chan Lay Lee was charged at two separate courts for murdering Zubaedah, 38, and causing grievous hurt to Anad, 22.
On the murder charge, Chan was accused of committing the offence at her home in Lebuhraya Jelutong here, between 11am and 4.45pm, on Feb 26.

Guatemala government has declared three days of mourning after a fire swept through a home for abused teenagers and children, killing at least 22 girls on Wednesday.

According to a police report, the blaze started when some residents who had been isolated by authorities set mattresses ablaze following an overnight attempt to escape from the overcrowded center.
All those killed at the Virgin of the Assumption Safe Home in San Jose Pinula, were aged between 14 and 17.

On Monday March 6th, Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Diaspora matters, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, released a statement advising Nigerians who do not have any important thing to do in the US not to travel there as she has received reports of some Nigerians being denied entry by some US Immigration officers.

Her advise was later countered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama who at a press briefing in Abuja, said there was no truth in reports that some Nigerians are being denied entry into the US due to the new US immigration policy.

Rudy Francis, a 35yr old Malaysian ecologist escaped death by the whiskers after he was attacked by a huge 18ft crocodile during a routine feeding session at a crocodile farm in Sandakan, East Malaysia on February 20. Colleagues had to pull him from the jaws of death during the attack in which he lost his right arm and leg.

In what can be described as nothing less than a lucky escape or a miracle, a 41yr old construction worker in China survived, after a 5ft steel rod got lodged in his head while he was at work. Doctors managed to remove the rod and saved the man known as Wang Long after a four-hour-long surgical operation. The accident occurred in Chongqing on February 27 when the worker tried to loosen up a concrete slab while at work.

Eze Ndigbo in China, His Royal Highness, Igwe Henry Chibueze Onwughalu has passed away. According to reports, Igwe Henry suffered a stroke and had been in a coma few days before his death in the early hours of Wednesday, March 8th. The businessman and philanthropist hailed from Adazi Ani in Aniocha Local Government Area of Anambra State. He was building a house before he died. May his soul rest in peace.
