Many passengers were left stranded after a bridge that links passengers from Niger state to Lagos state collapsed after a heavy downpour. The collapsed portion of the bridge is at Gidan Mai Village, along Mokwa-Makera highway in Niger state.

The Russian authorities have arrested a man suspected of murdering nine people in a drunken rage during a house party in the Tver region.
45-year-old Sergey Yegorov allegedly shot and killed five men and four women at the house party over the weekend.
UK Mirror reports that the shooting spree started after fellow guests began to taunt him for not being a "real man" because he had not served in the Russian army.

A suspected member of the notorious Badoo gang was caught and lynched around Olomomeje Mosque in Aga, (Oni Ogunsanya Street) Ikorodu. The suspect was caught this morning then taken to the Onyabo office where he was interrogated by Onyabo - a vigilante group in Ikorodu - at their office.
According to the story shared by Ikorodu Ambassadors Group on Facebook, the angry mob insisted on serving justice themselves and prevented the authorities from taking the suspect away.

The photo, which has been retweeted over 34,900 times, features the man fleeing from the scene of the attack, while making sure his full glass of beer didn't spill, while he ran for his dear life. Victor Sibson was suicidal and tried to take his life by shooting himself in the head but by some stroke of fate, the bullet passed through his head then hit his girlfriend on the chest, killing her.

The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has confirmed that an associate director of human resources who was reported missing in March during a vacation in South Africa has been found dead.
Charlotte Nikoi, a New York-based and Ghanaian citizen, arrived in Cape Town on March 17 to celebrate her wedding anniversary with her family. She was reported missing on March 21 during a hike on Table Mountain at the Platteklip Gorge hiking trail.

A gunman sparked panic at a hotel in the Philippines, ultimately leading to the death of 36 people - nearly all from suffocation. He later set himself on fire.

Police have launched manhunt looking for three women who murdered and dismembered a 22-year-old woman, Warissara “Amm” Klinjui in Thailand on May 23.
The three suspects, Priyanuch Nongwangchai, 24,  Kawita Rachada, 25, and Apiwan Satayabundit, 28, are wanted on suspicion of killing of the young woman in the northeastern province of Khon Kaen. It’s alleged they lured her into a car, strangled her to death and then sawed her body in half as part of a revenge plot. Her remains were found buried May 25 in two large buckets.
