Fake policeman

A fake policeman, David Fashina , who was nabbed in uniform, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command. Fashina who is also a motorcycle rider, allegedly stole two phones from a man in Abeokuta, Ogun State while wearing a police uniform.
Tribune reports that the suspect who was paraded last weekend at the police headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, was arrested when one Dr Eniola (surname withheld) reported to the police that he was robbed of his two phones by a syndicate of two, one of whom was dressed in a police uniform.

A sad video is being circulated on online showing a white alt-right teen pulling a gun on an 8-year-old boy and threatening to murder him in a social media prank.
The video has allegedly been circulated on White Nationalist websites. In it, the teenager is heard asking the younger boy: "How fast does a n****r run?".
The child looks back confused and says that he doesn't know. The teenager then pulls a gun, and says, "Lets Find Out".

Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola, has for a while been accused of dating actress Bukola Adeeyo for a while now. Things escalated when Bukola welcomed a baby girl in the US a few weeks back, with many saying the baby belongs to Odunlade.

The operatives of the Anti Cultism Unit of the Enugu State Police Command on Sunday,  August 13, arrested two men, Emmanuel Ogbonna and Odo Chinedu with sixteen bags of weed.
Ogbonna claimed to hail from Okpanam Delta state while Odo is from Aguabo, Enugu. Also recovered from  Ogbonna, is a suspected identity/warrant card, portraying him as a member of Director of security services with the name Emmanuel Tako and number  FCA552447.

 
The newly inaugurated task force on uncensored and unclassified movies by the National Film and Video Censors, have arrested three suspected pirates namely Ndu Celestine, Okechukwu Ikuagwu and Austine Ugokwe, for running a N50-million worth of film piracy syndicate at the Alaba International market in Lagos.

Their arrest came after several petitions to the National film and video censors board by retailers from the Northern part of the country who they had supplied movies to.  

 
Nasarawa state Police command has arrested two persons in connections with a mob action that led to the death of a soldier, Lance Cpl. Ayuba Ali, on Monday in Akwanga, Nasarawa state.

The command’s spokesman, DSP Kennedy Idirisu, confirmed the arrest to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lafia.

Idirisu said that available information revealed the the victim, who was on pass from Maiduguri, allegedly hit a street hawker at Agwan Affi area of the town while riding on a motorbike.

He was born in Enugu to parents who are originally from Delta State.

A man was put to death in Yemen on Monday after been convicted of raping and killing a child.

The 22-year old, Hussein al-Saket, was found guilty of abducting, raping and murdering a four-year-old girl, who he later buried, said Rajeh Ezzedine, a judge who attended the execution.

Ali Ayedh, the victim’s uncle, said Saket “took part in the search for the girl before being unmasked” during the police investigation.

 
The Imo state police command has arrested one of the gunmen that attacked police officers on patrol close to the Assemblies of God Church in Oguta, a community in the state yesterday August 13th.
A statement released by the state police command, says the gunmen who dressed in attires meant for masquerades, opened fire at the police officers who were on foot patrol. Sadly one of the officers lost his life in the attack as well as a motorcycle rider. The statement from the police reads

On Friday, August 11, three Nigerian nationals and two Cambodians accused of selling drugs were put on trial in Phnom Penh court.
The defendants were caught selling more than one kilogram of methamphetamines/ice. They are:
Innocent Onwumere Okafor, 44
Eric Chinedu Ankker,  24
Moses Chego Enbechi, 32
Chan Rathana (known as "Miss Gold")—a 24 year-old Cambodian
Pun Rayuth—a 19 year-old Cambodian

A-38-year-old man simply identified as John is in custody of vigilante group in Igbanonmaje Otukpo, Benue State for allegedly raping 3 of his brother's children who are between the ages of 12, 10 and 8.
The accused, a resident of Otiya B in Otukpo was reported to the vigilante group on August 12.
According to Idoma Voice, John usually lure the girls to the bush with claims that he needed assistance in fetching fire wood for their mother and then takes advantage of them.

A 17-year-old male SAPELE—A 17-year-old male  inmate, Silas Anidi, who slit the throat of an 11-year-old girl in 2015, is among 23 inmates that escaped from the Ministry of Women Affairs and Development Remand Home in Sapele.

Though the incident was carefully kept away from the public, investigation by Vanguard revealed that the inmates within the age bracket of 14 and 17 years escaped from custody on July 30th and August 2nd in what a staff of the home described as a careful orchestrated escape plot.

In an attempt to stop a convoy of the Nigerian Army, an officer of the Nigeria Customs Service, Baba Nwaguyawo, has been crushed to death at the Agbara end of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway on Friday.

According to reports, the convoy was used as a diversion to smuggle some cars into the country.

The deceased, with service number 53225, was until his death an anti-smuggling operative of the Federal Operations Unit, Zone A, Ikeja, Lagos.

A pair of attackers stabbed two brothers during a parking spot spat in Brooklyn late Sunday, killing one and wounding the other, cops said.

Police said the fight broke out around midnight, next door to the victim’s home along a row of attached brick houses on E. 73rd St. near Avenue M in Bergen Beach.

A pregnant housewife, Halima, has been arrested by the police for allegedly killing her husband, Ibrahim Ismail, at their house in Nasarawo Demsa community, in the Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Halima and Ibrahim had been married for more than five years and had three children together.

Halima was said to be pregnant with their fourth child when the couple had a disagreement on Thursday which culminated in the death of the businessman.

A deranged Long Island man, left on the street since his mom evicted him, returned home Saturday to execute her, his sister and a third woman .

Bobby Vanderhall, 34, was sleeping peacefully inside a parked car when he was arrested about 2 miles away from the Hempstead home where police say he carved a late-night trail of terror.

He bashed all three women to death with a hammer in the suburban two-story home where he lived until Lynn Vanderhall gave her only son the boot.

At least 30 children died on Thursday and into Friday at a hospital in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh after its supply of liquid oxygen was disrupted over an unpaid bill, officials said.

A home ministry spokesman told the Press Trust of India, citing police reports, that 21 of the deaths were directly linked to a shortage of oxygen.

The National Management Emergency Agency (NEMA) on Sunday said it had evacuated 121 displaced Nigerians from Cameroon.

The Information Officer, NEMA North-East, Abdulkadir Ibrahim said in a statement that the displaced persons were evacuated to Maiduguri.

Ibrahim said that the displaced persons fled their homes in the wake of Boko Haram attack in Ngala local government area of the state.

A baby girl was left with a horrific facial infection after her parents dismissed hospital treatment in favour of 'black magic'.

When the treatment failed to work, little Tania's family took her to doctors who spent two weeks curing the bacteria growing on her face.

The girl, from a tribal hamlet in Dantewada, India, was covered in puss-filled blisters for two months before finally getting better,Daily Mirror reports.

A baby boy born with his intestine out of his body last week in Kontagora, Niger state, has successfully undergone a surgery to place them back into his body. Doctors at the state general hospital were surprised when the baby came out from his mom's womb with all his intestine sticking out. A philanthropist in the state sponsored the operation and the boy is currently recuperating at a specialist hospital in the state. See more photos after the cut.
