Oscar Pistorius left the witness box in tears twice today during a fierce line of questioning from the state prosecutor who accused him of doctoring his testimony to fit evidence at the scene.

Mr Nel also tried to pin Pistorius on whether he intended to shoot at the intruder, stating that he did not fire a warning shot. He alleged the runner changed his aim with his 9mm pistol to ensure that he hit Reeva Steenkamp as she fell back against a magazine rack after the first shot. There has just been a bomb explosion this morning under Nyanya bridge bus stop Abuja and over 50 people have been confirmed dead! Over 200 are actually feared dead cos more dead bodies have been counted.

According to eyewitnesses, the bomb blast occurred at 6:45am at Nyanya Elrufai Park. The source of the explosion was a car bomb. It is suspected that a Toyota Seina bus which was parked overnight was ladened with the bomb that went off this morning, knowing fully well that there would be so much more people at the bus stop this morning. Sound of the explosion at Nyanya (Under Bridge) was heard from far away Abacha Road in Mararaba.

Majority of the people killed in the Nyanya bus stop explosion were actually coming to the city centre to tend to their various jobs. NEMA ambulances were seen carrying corpses.

Breaking News: Bomb Blast In Nyanya, Abuja
A bomb blast at a bus depot on the outskirts of the Nigerian capital Abuja killed at least 20 people during rush hour on Monday morning, witnesses said.

A Reuters cameraman saw 20 bodies at the depot at Nyanya bridge, south of Abuja, and two witnesses said another 15 had already been removed by the emergency services. Nyanya is about 33kms from central Abuja.

“I was waiting to get on a bus when I heard a deafening explosion then smoke. People were running around in panic,” said Mimi Daniels, who works in Abuja. Another blast followed, she said.

A bomb blast have been reported in Nyanya a surbub between Abuja the federal Capital and Nasarawa State, on Monday, at about 7.00am. The bomb blast occured at the ever busy Nyanya Al Rufai bus stop.

Several persons are reportedly kill and other severely injured.
As at the time of this report, there was serious gridlock along the expressway and security personnels and men of the Federal Road Safety Commission.

Oscar Pistorius' three-day cross-examination reached a dramatic climax today as the world-famous
athlete was accused of deliberately shooting his girlfriend through a toilet door as the couple talked and argued in the early hours of Valentine's Day last year.
"You knew that Reeva went behind the door and you shot at her,' Mr Nel said. 'You shot at her knowing she was behind the door.'
Pistorius denied the charge as prosecutor Gerrie Nel pushed the Paralympic champion on his version of the exact events in the seconds before he killed Reeva Steenkamp by firing four times through the stall door in his bathroom with his 9mm pistol on February 14, 2013.

 Adesanmoye Kehinde, a senior official of the Nigerian Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Ikotun Lagos branch, has been arrested and dragged before the Ejigbo Magistrate Court in Lagos for allegedly setting his lover, Janet, 31, ablaze after she called off their relationship.

Kehinde, 43, who is married with three children, had been dating Delta state born Janet for a while and was planning marry her. Janet however decided to call the affair off because she felt Kehinde was too troublesome. Continue...
