The child known as 'Baby Doe' whose remains were found on an island in Boston Harbor has been identified after a long and exhaustive search. The girl's body was found in a trash bag on June 25 by a woman who was walking her dog on Deer Island, Boston Globe reports.

The authorities in UK have now confirmed that the purported UK passport of Senate President Bukola Saraki, that was published online a few months ago was forged. Her Majesty Passport Office confirmed this after Saraki's lawyer, Andrew Stephenson of Discreet Law, London, inquired how a media house could get hold of someone's passport. The UK authorities admitted that Saraki holds a valid British passport by virtue of being born in the country but the passport passed around is fake

Vernicia Ruguru was yesterday, September 9, found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment by an embu court for burning her husband, Patrick Njue with acid on July 16, 2012 in Embu North, Kenya.

Malachi Heisler shot his father John Heisler after he broke into the house to speak to his estranged wife.
