Since the 1980s, the Italian town of Ostana had not seen the birth of a single baby.
But last week, a dream came true, as the mayor of the small town said. A baby was born. The first in 28 years.
According to La Stampa, the town has only 85 inhabitants, including newborn Pablo. Its population has continuously fallen -- a fate shared by many other Italian towns and villages.

A British helicopter pilot was shot and killed while trying to stop elephant poachers in Tanzania, a conservation group said.
The pilot, Roger Gower, was killed Friday while working with the Texas-based Friedkin Conservation Fund, in a joint effort with Tanzanian wildlife authorities, to "track down and arrest active elephant poachers," according to a statement on the group's website.

Former minister Femi Fani-Kayode and his fiancee, Precious Chikwendu welcomed their first child together today February 1st. Precious gave birth to a healthy baby boy at Diss hospital in Abuja. The boy is FFK's first son. He has 5 daughters from previous marriages.

According to a source close to the couple, FFK's first son was born in Nigeria, at one of the best hospitals in Abuja because the former minister insisted. All his other children were born abroad and he wanted his first born son to be born in Nigeria like he was! Congrats to the couple!
