A suspected phone thief was today apprehended by the mechanics (Car technicians) at Ugah Road, Idemili Anambra State today and beaten up mercilessly.

Abia State Police Commissioner of Police, CP. 'Leye Oyebade paraded suspected armed robbers, kidnappers, fraudsters, and other crime suspects at the state police headquarters, Umuahia on Thursday, February 23.

A 20-year-old woman from Soysambus sub-location in Ndalu Bungoma County, Kenya is currently hospitalized after her mother-in-law allegedly threw acid on her legs and tied her to a pole inside a room for two weeks to rot.
Soysambu sub-location administrator Geoffrey Okumu, who confirmed the incident, said the woman identified as Reginalda, was allegedly attacked by her mother--in-law, Margaret Masai, shortly after giving birth. The suspect, however denied the allegations.


 A man, Tosin Oluwatosin, has been arrested with a human head in Ifaki-Ekiti, Ido/Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State.Oluwatosin and his brother, David, who is at large, were accused of killing the victim.

The suspect was grilled by homicide detectives at the state police headquarters to explain the circumstances behind the murder of the 12-year-old victim.

Confirming the incident to reporters yesterday, police spokesman Alberto Adeyemi said Oluwatosin was arrested about 3.35 pm.

 

A painter, Mr. Ese Akpan, had told his family on Tuesday that he was going out to get the money owed him by a construction company.

He, however, did not get to his destination, as he was killed by a stray bullet from a police team escorting a bullion van to a bank.

A little schoolgirl was knocked down and crushed to death under a truck's wheel this morning at Nonthaburi province in Thailand.

According to eyewitness report, the woman pictured wailing on the ground was taking her daughter to school on a motorcycle when a truck rammed into them from behind, knocking her off the bike. It has taken almost 13 years but former President Olusegun Obansanjo has now apologised to human rights activist, Dr. Joel Odumakin for the man-handling she suffered from security operatives back in May 2004. The duo were special guests at an event in Abeokuta, Ogun State when the apology went down. An excited Joel Odumakin took to Instagram to share the news and wrote:

This grainy pictures show the woman suspected to have killed the playboy half brother of North Korean leader, Kim Jong-nam. Jong-nam who fell out with their father and left the country had branded his half-brother's regime a 'joke'.

He was at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia on Monday morning waiting for a flight when two North Korean women attacked him from behind with poison spray. He died on his way to hospital.
