Four people have escaped death after an over speeding vehicle lost control and smashed into a shop at College Road, Aruna B\Stop in Lagos. The vehicle which was coming from Yaya-Abatan lost control at the corner ramming into a shop beside APC Ifako Ijaye office, injuring a shoe maker and a passerby. Fortunately the woman in the shop did not sustain any injury with her baby.
The incident occurred around 11am on Wednesday, involving Honda Accord motor with registration number SMK-971EJ. The driver did not sustain any injury too. The shoe maker was badly injured while the passerby suffered one leg dislocation.

Meghan Markle has joined her boyfriend, Prince Harry, in Jamaica for the wedding of Harry's best Friend, Tom "Skipp" Inskip.

Prince Harry was seen on Wednesday flying out of Gatwick Airport to arrive Jamaica for the union of Skipp and his fiancee, Lara Hughes-Young, which will hold on Friday in Montego Bay, St.James. Meghan Markle flew out of Toronto to join him a day later.

Three suicide bombers lost their lives today along Damboa Road, Maiduguri. According to the Borno state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Damian Chuckwu, two female bombers and a male bomber attacked petroleum tankers parked near a filling station along Damboa road. Two of them detonated while the third was gunned down by a soldier.

A staff of College of Education, Katsina Ala, Benue State, has been found dead few hours after he was abducted last Saturday.

An armed man said to belong to a cult group in Owerri, Imo State, narrowly escaped lynching Tuesday by an angry mob at Alvan Guest House, Amakohia, Owerri. It was gathered that six alleged armed cultists stormed BET NAIJA house which was also a sports viewing center, and made away with two laptops. They also attacked a young man, who tried to stop them.

An Iranian tourist had his hotel safe robbed of 40,000 baht after taking two girls to his room in South Pattaya, Thailand on Monday.

Only one of the girls was arrested and she later fled police custody before being rounded up a second time. She claimed that the Iranian man had not paid her for sex so they decided to rob him.
She is being charged and the other is being hunted - they are both friends from Khon Kaen.

The corpse of a lady was discovered at Ihie Bridge through Isi court Amakama in Umuahia south LGA of Abia state by residents yesterday Tuesday February 28th.

Residents said the deceased may have been raped and killed by some hoodlums on Monday and her body dumped under the bridge. Spokesperson of the Abia state Police command, Ogbonnaya Geoffrey, confirmed the incident and said the police is investigating the matter. See picture after the cut.

At least 117 people have died due to torrential rains in Zimbabwe, while 106 others have been injured by lightning, Department of Civil Protection Unit (CPU) reported on Monday.

Delia Mary Flores, a 53yr old American woman from Arizona shot her boyfriend seven times with a .32-caliber revolver, firing one shot into his penis and twice into his scrotum after she suspected him of cheating. Luckily for the unnamed victim, he survived his injuries. He told police that he was sleeping upright in a chair around 8.30pm on Saturday when he woke up to what he thought were fireworks, until he felt an 'excruciating pain in his lower extremities'.
