The Ivorian football federation has been struck with another major blow after 29-year-old Eugene Koffi Kouame who plays for Turkish side Egirdirspor died after collapsing during a football match at Koumassi Stadium in Abidjan South.
The striker was said to have been playing a football match with a group of friends on Monday, when he passed out and was rushed to a hospital. But emergency treatment failed to revive him. It was later confirmed that he had passed away.

The Kano State Police Command have arrested one Alhaji Saje Sani, the Ward Head of Yargaya village in Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area of Kano state and six others over the alleged rape of a 13-year-old girl.
Other suspects are identified as Garba Usaini aka Sadauki, 68yrs of Yargaya Village, Magaji Ahmed aka Begi, 50, Umar Yusif, 38,Yakubu Abdullahi aka Alhaji, 28, Habibu Isa, 30, of Yargaya Village, Yahaya Ibrahim, 30, all of Dawakin Kudu LGA of Kano State.

Unknown cult gang members on Monday night invaded the Umudioga Community in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State killing at least five people including two brothers. 
The siblings identified as Emeka and Ifeanyi Wobo were beheaded by the suspected cultists in Rumuokpareli, Ibio/Akpo community. 

Police Public Relations Officer Nnamdi Omoni confirmed that a rival gang invaded Omudioga which resulted a clash with another gang in the community leading to the death of people while several others sustained injuries.

Following the interview Chyna granted ABC News where she spoke about Rob, Kim Kardashian's reps sent ABC News a copy of a non-disclosure agreement the former stripper signed under her real name Angela White before appearing on the Kardashian family E! reality shows. A 21-year-old student of the Federal College of Education in Plateau, Nenfort Ezekiel, was found dead in her room on Monday by curious neighbours trying to find out if she was okay, after she wasn't spotted out for classes as usual. Nenfort's door was forced open when she didn't respond to greetings, and it was her lifeless body that was found.

According to Facebook user, Femi Arowolo, the man pictured above was caught trying to rob at Eyita palace, Ikorodu Lagos. He was beaten up and later handed over to the police. Mr Femi wrote;

A group of suspected herdsmen have butchered the Chief Park Ranger of Gashaka-Gumti National park, Haman Njidda, in Taraba state. According to media personality, Sumner Sambo Shagari, who shared the story online, the deceased led a team on a patrol around Buspan/Tipsan axis where they encountered the herdsmen who allegedly butchered him to death while scampering for safety. A gang of Nigerian fraudsters who posed as bankers, financial gurus and potential love interests have been jailed after swindling people out of £1m.
Peters Akanno Obi, Soloman Adanegbe and Prince Braimah-Oboh preyed on victims across the world, conning them out of cash, which was laundered and stored in accounts in Greater Manchester.
The trio were jailed at Manchester Crown Court after being found guilty by a jury following a four-week trial.

Cameroon’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Amb. Abbas Salahedine has been summoned by the Nigerian Foreign Affairs Ministry to give explanations on the report of maltreatment and killings of Nigerians in the Bakassi Peninsula by Cameroonian Gendarmes.


A statement by the Ministry’s Acting Spokesperson, Mrs Jane Adams, expressed dismay on the incident said to have been occasioned by alleged non-payment of taxes on fishing activities.

New parents George and Amal Clooney have been pictured for the first time in public since the birth of their now one month-old twins, Ella and Alexander. The Oscar-winning star and his lawyer wife were seen with their covered up offspring as they embarked from a private jet ride to Milan for a summer getaway.
