An Ethiopian woman, Jinat Farid was found guilty of killing Ghalia Eida al-Harithi by striking her repeatedly with an axe as the victim knelt to perform Muslim prayers, the ministry said in a statement carried by state news agency, SPA. After killing Harithi, Farid stole two gold rings and an unspecified amount of money, the ministry said. She was executed in the western city of Taif.

The ministry did not specify any connection between the culprit and the victim, but the kingdom hosts large numbers of domestic workers that come from African and South Asian countries. Source:AFP

A man wanted by Ohio police sent authorities a selfie because he was unhappy with the mugshot being circulated on his arrest warant. Donald Pugh says the unflattering mugshot made him look "like I was a Thundercat" 
Donald "Chip" Pugh was wanted for a failure to appear in several cases including arson and vandalism, according to Lima Police Department. In a post on its Facebook page, Lima Police urged people to contact them if they spotted Pugh - along with an 'unflattering' mugshot of the 45-year-old
Pugh then sent an image of himself sitting in a car wearing sunglasses, with the comment:
"Here is a better photo that one is terrible."

Instagram has removed a post of an Cape Town-based American woman who live-blogged her own rape ordeal on the social media platform. Amber Amour who was in South Africa to promote her “Stop Rape, Educate” campaign shared on her Instagram account that she was raped in Cape Town while sharing a shower with a friend.
One of the photos the 27-year-old posted was taken immediately after she was raped.
Instagram removed it two days ago saying: "Amber we removed your post because it doesn’t follow our community guidelines."

Two would-be robbers who were fatally shot at a liquor store in the Gresham neighborhood Saturday night have been identified as a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, authorities said.
Keshawn Marzette, 15, of the 8300 block of South Throop Street, and William Larson, 17, of the same address, were pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
