A six foot python was overpowered by a brave man at the old Aplaku Muslim cemetery near Bortianor, Ghana. According to the man identified as Alhaji, they had come there on Sunday morning, July 17 to weed and clear out the Muslim cemetery when he detected movement at the far end leading to one of the walls. He rushed there and found the huge python stretched out and ready to engage him in a fight.

A 21-year-old Indian student is currently recovering in the hospital after being gang-raped by a group of men including some charged with sexually assaulting her 3 years earlier, an officer said Monday.
The five men abducted the student of the lowest Dalit social caste from outside her college before drugging and raping her in a car. She was found unconscious in bushes on the side of a highway last Wednesday night in Haryana which borders New Delhi.

The man who shot three police officers dead and injured three others in Baton Rouge has been named as Gavin Eugene Long from Kansas City. He shot 6 people on his 29th birthday.

According to CBS News reports, 29 year old  Long was a former Marine who was honorably discharged after achieving the rank of sergeant, before becoming a life coach and self-styled 'Alpha-preneur' under the name of Cosmo Setepenra.

Two men identified as Odinaka Orji, 32, a driver and Nonso Ejimene, 22, an accountancy student from Ezeagu, were almost lynched by irate mob yesterday, July 17, at Coal Camp over homosexual activities. According to a statement issued by the Enugu State Police Command, both men had been stripped naked before security operatives of the Central Police station Enugu promptly arrived the scene and saved them.

Two suspected kidnappers were burnt beyond recognition at Bristow roundabout in Gboko area of Benue state yesterday July 17th. The men were reportedly on the verge of kidnapping a woman when they were apprehended and the jungle justice was meted on them by a mob. Twenty-six-year-old Joshua Long was charged on Thursday after admitting to stealing a human brain and soaking his weed with the formaldehyde to give it an extra high. Long's aunt found the human brain hidden inside a department store shopping bag while cleaning up the house and contacted the police.

A driver and many of his passengers were burnt beyond recognition in a fatal accident along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway yesterday. Eyewitnesses say the bus driver was picking passengers on the expressway and upon sighting members of the National Union Of Road Transport Workers Task Force, he sped off and ran into a ditch. The bus somersaulted and burst into flames. The bus driver and most of the passengers died in the ensuing fire. Two passengers escaped with major burns and were taken to the hospital for medical care.

The Lagos state Police command yesterday paraded Chinonso Okolokwo, who is alleged to engage young secondary school female students in prostitution in the state. According to the Lagos state police commissioner, Fatai Owoseni, Chinonso, who hails from Ebonyi state, goes to different secondary schools in the Surulere area in Lagos state within school hours to lure female students between 12 to 15 years of age to a hotel.

Three men were brutally murdered a day ago, over land related matters at Isiwo road, Igbodu, Epe. According to the person who shared these photos, suspected assassins brutally killed his brother Deacon Hassan, along with his personal assistant and driver.
